“Airplane arrived in excellent condition. Great quality and very easy to assemble. I have 30+ years of aeromodelling experience but this is my first EDF or "jet" model. Maiden was great, no issues flying from grass runways. Recomended throws are way to mach. I´m useing D/R setup for ailerons and elevators less than 50%. CG feel good, for firts flights with battery (HRB 6s 5200mah 100c) placement almost as far aft as posilble (an inch and a half from far aft position) Feels rock solid on flight, stable and predictable. If you are thinking of getting into jets, this model is the way to start. 100% recomendable.”

“Plane went together with no issues. Maiden flight went well until the nose gear wouldn't extend. After belly landing with gear door damage, discovered nose gear goes down after more than a minute after activation.Contacted Motion RC and explained the problem. No response.”

“Sweet job Freewing, new system has its own sound in the Avanti's ducting, for sure. I have the Cougar as well. Landing gear is better, and I put three coats of Minwax semi- gloss on it and it's hard to tell its foam.”

“It looks great, easy to assemble and flies great. Tons of power. Very stable. As per many pilots - no gyro needed. The only thing I'm bit worried about is the paint used to cover the model. It acts as latex/flex layer over the foam and it's not very rigid. Easy to pull out.”

“My third Avanti S - the fit and finish on this V2 is great. Everyone should have one in the hangar, it gets a lot of compliments at the field. The new motor / fan is more efficient so you can fly longer, especially when including some slow flying with full flaps. I was worried about it pulling 122 amps at 25v, 0 timing, so I put a HW FF 120 ESC in mine (even at 21.5v it pulls 110 amps @ 0 timing). I like programming my ESCs to 0 or low timing, the stock ESC may be okay, just a personal preference.”
