“It is increasable how good this plane flies. Also the power is perfect. I have a 6s 6100, 5min flight time and I used ~ 4200mAh. Everything is fine, except for the zero point of the servos. It is large, so that the servos do not respond to small control impulses at first.”

“This is my 3rd Avanti. The first was the V1 flown on grass. I loved it and finally wore it out. My second one was converted to turbine. It was so good a buddy bought it from me. This 3rd V2 will stay EDF to keep it simple but will fly from geotex runway. It is just a fun easy to fly jet. I love it.”

“I recently got one of these second hand, and all I can say is this jet flys incredibly smooth and precise, I fly mine without a gyro and it still handles 20mph wind no problem, plenty of thrust, good flight time even on a 4000 6s admiral battery, and easy to put together. Incredibly easy to land and very responsive, one of the best 80mm jets on the market, would definitely recommend getting one.”

“I probably have close to 100 planes or more. Although I like all sorts of planes, I do favor the jets. The Avanti S V2 is in my opinion the very best jet I have ever had. I love the red one!!! This is my second one. This plane is with me on EVERY trip! I flew the hell out of my first one. Had it so dialed in that I’d perform all sorts of stunts at the RC Field. I’d really pour on a good show. It flew so good. It didn’t have a scratch on it. I’m able to fly between one and three times a week putting 8 to 12 flights on it each time. Bought the first one as soon as they came out. Probably had two or three hundred flights before I buried it. Well. Beginning of July 2025 I was doing my thing that I’ve done a thousand times before, settling down into that pocket at full speed coming right down the field about 4” off the deck. About 3/4’s through a cross wind whipped up. My left wing dipped just enough to hit the ground and all I seen was exploding foam. The guys said it was one of the most amazing crashes they’ve ever seen. It was Epic lol. First thing I did after picking up the pieces was order another one . We went camping so I didn’t get the second one airborne till just a week or so ago but I already got it dialed in, already got over 25 flights and I’m right back at it again 4” off the deck showing everyone what this thing can do . This thing has the greatest landing gear, awesome power and it just seems so robust. I always wanted the Avanti. I’m so glad I waited for the V2 version and getting it in this cool awesome new red is just the cream on the crop. Oh and there is plenty of room for good sized batteries. I’d say 5000 plus. I fly 6000 and 6500 and I’ve tried an 8000 but that much weight starts to get counterproductive. The 6000 to 6500 are perfect. I can’t say enough about this jet. I have many jets and this one is by far the most reliable, funest, easiest flying jet I have ever seen. Most jets usually have a weakness, but about the only thing I could pick on is that one of the main gears don’t come down all the time. So I just cycle again and it’s fine. I’ve spoke to other Avanti owners who experience the same. So far though I haven’t experienced that on this this newer one, the second one. I always do a slow flyby just before landing to be sure all the gear is down. This jet beats out every other jet and manufacturer that I have in my large collection, everything from Eflite, fms, arrows, freewing and more. This Avanti is the best and the 80mm size I’ve learned seems to satisfy price, and quality, transferability and fun. I’ve never had to repair or replace or even straighten ANY of the landing gear!!! I’ve turned on three others in my club members to this Avanti. They are all on their second ones too, only because they crashed them because they took their eyes off them. That’s a no no . “Very solid aircraft. Would recommend. Make sure you remember what switch you program to what feature though. Reverse thrust is not the same as the gear switch. Won’t do that twice.”
