This is my second BAE Hawk and she is a great flyer. This one was completed in T-45 sheme with some plastic add-ons to make it look like a T-45. Installed a 70mm high performance edf unit and she flies great. Definately you should have on in your fleet!

The only fault I had was the front landing gear. Not robust enough for grass strips, unless you use an after-market nose gear stop! Lovely plane and easy to orient in the air due to its Red color scheme. 9/10.

As usual, fast shipping and well packaged. I really like the plane but the blue box needs to.be updated. Very confusing for the polarity for lights is one way and the polarity for the servos iis reversed. Took me a while to figure out why nothing was working. Otherwise, typical great product from Freewing and MotionRC

Flies excellent. Very stable for a smaller edf and easy to land.

Super nice flyer, easy to land. Lights are great and the red livery make it one of the easiest planes to see.

Canopy hatch is ineffective, could be designed better, nose strut workmanship is less precise than the main struts, parts fit very loose causing nose swaying from side to side when taxiing. Honestly the only advantage of an FMS Hawk 80mm over this is the stronger landing gear. We need plug in wings for us guys that don’t have a truck to transport. Freewing, you have a good model here, I have owned several and love how it flies. Most us us in CA. Dont have a paved runway so stronger landing gear is needed for grass, plug in wings and you will have the perfect 70mm edf.

This is a fun plane. It’s fast when you want it to be and slows down for effortless landings. It goes together easily out of the box and is cool looking in the air. Good clean fun. I run it with a 6s 4000 setup and get about 3 1/2 minutes of air time with plenty of battery left for a flyover if I need to adjust the approach.

Pros: Terrific flyer, acrobatic platform, great power, very precise, great rudder authority, good visibility. Manual CG is spot on.Cons: Very light so not much strength, must be landed correctly, let it settle at a very shallow deck angle and it’s a perfect landing every time, but if you bounce on asphalt it wants to keep bouncing, causing damage. I did that in high winds and found the landing gear struts use very small diameter (2.95mm) pins. My nose gear pin bent but I was able to simply bend it straight in a small vice. Not ver forgiving.Notes: I fly with a 6s 4000 mAh pack, inexpensive MRC gyro, Gooniac fiery booty (with duct painted aluminum.Amazing how similar this flies to my CARF Sport Hawk. Handle with care :)
