“Having other 70mm edf's like the F-35, Yak-130 and F-16 V2 I wasn't exactly sure how the new BAe Hawk would perform in comparison. Pilot Ryan and Capt. Mike had given her a big thumbs up. All I can say is Awesome ! I already had a spare 2200kv 14b 70mm edf motor/fan combo and a 125 amp esc looking for a new home. They were welcomed with open arms to the Hawk.Motion never disappoints . From the time ordered on a Monday to the time I maidened on Friday still amazes me. That's 4 days folks. Pick Pack, Ship, Unopen, Build,Program and fly. This airplane goes together remarkablyfast. There may be 12 screws. That's it ! Oh it gets better. The maiden went exceptionally well. I fly off a short grass field. She rotated in about 80 ft. Flew her with an Admiral 5000 mah 50C . And what a blast to fly. And get this. I didn't even need one click of trim.Speedwize, please keep it a secret but she'll keep up with the Avanti S all day long. The flaps slow her down nicely for landing. She glides in for a smooth bounce free touchdown. I didn't buy the upgraded LG yet. Like the Yak-130, I'll fly with the chicken legs until I wear them out. Anyway, you don't notice them when you're flying. On the fence? Buy this plane ! She's a keeper !Hawk”
