“Graduating from a Habu SS, no retracts, no flaps, this was a great next step. Honestly believe the HabuSS is faster than the Hawk T1 but that may be a good thing. Dealing with flaps and gear you need to be sharp and ahead of the jet.My son has the Vulcan, both have the same power plant, and the Vulcan is soooo much faster. He says it is because the Hawk T1 is more “bubbly” ! Can’t go wrong with this as your next jet !!”

“Are you clicking over here trying to figure out which is the best 70 mm money can buy? Well luck is with you on this joyous day. The plane flies like an Avanti sport jet, with zero bad habits. It has a full compliment of lights, and its fire truck red. Make sure to fly with the bottom foam piece. If you happen to come down a little hard, this will take the hit and save your landing gear and your wallet!”

“Went together very easily, thanks to the clever design and clear instructions. The packaging is particularly good at keeping everything nicely separated in transit. The only slight niggle I had concerned one of the flap servos which I had to remove to re-position the output arm. Takes off readily from short grass and looks great in the air. Flies as if on rails! Brilliant!”

“Really liking it. Not for those who like inverted flying or smooth rolls, but it looks like a dart going straight up into the blue sky. 4 stars, because of ease of serviceability.”

“Order arrived faster than expected, but not a surprise as the package tracking told me when it would arrive. Box had a couple of small holes, contents undamaged. Airplane looks great. Lovely finish and fit. Servos, power system, retracts all work. Haven't flown yet, waiting for confluence of weather and my schedule.”

“My 1st 'real' EDF, after a couple 50 and 64mm jets and some 4S prop warbirds. This is a completely different animal. Of course it is fast, but the ailerons are VERY sensitive and need to be toned down a lot. I found using a gyro helps but the gains need to be set very low. Not ashamed to say I also have a safe/recovery switch, which is why I now have 6 flights instead of 3. Love the shock-absorbing struts. Flys well at 50% power, otherwise it can be a wide pattern and it gets small quickly. Landings are with idle power and full flaps. Highly recommend adding carbon-fiber rods in the nose and bracing the front gear. Since i use a syro-enabled receiver, I placed it closer to the CG under the back of the battery tray, which required 6 servo extensions, so a lot of wires in the nose. Not for beginners but if you have the experience and confidence it's a good airplane.”
