“The gear in itsself works fine and of course fits perfectly into the nose of the T-33 but still i woudl recommend not to buy it if you want or have to replace the nose gear on your T-33, at least not if you fly on grass. I would suggest that you go with the nose gear of the L-39 instead that is slightly longer overall ( about 7mm), which does not sound much but it give the T-33 a slightly better AoA and makes take off smoother and more scale like. The L-39 nose gear also fits perfectly and without any modifications into the T-33, it even looks a bit better if you ask me. No idea why Freewing used two different nose gears on these two planes.”
