Nose gear very weak. Broke on 1st landing. Other than that, it flies great.

I bought my Freewing T33 last October and have been waiting for the all clear for our flying site to reopen. So today was the day, cold with a wind of about 8-12 kts. The kit as delivered from Motion RC was perfect. With the help of the manual all the parts went together in a straight forward manner. With a 4000 60c 6s lipo the C of G balance was spot on. The U/C is sturdy and easily copes with grass field operations. It takes a couple of seconds to respond to the up or down command from the TX which is a bit puzzling but quite OK once recognised. The finish in USAF training colours is excellent and provides good visibility in the air.The takeoff was straight forward with good acceleration and a run of perhaps 30 metres on grass. No trimming whatsoever was needed. The T33 is quite fast, stable and responsive. This is a model to build any flier's confidence. Landing, without flaps today, was straightforward, about 15% throttle down to the flare and cut just before touchdown. I got 4 minutes flights with careful throttle management leaving 20-25% charge remaining.Overall good value and highly recommended.

1st edf after spending just shy of two years on propeller driven planes. Man I am speechless. Needed a bunch of up elevator trim and a decent amount of left aileron trim. But after that she just flew beautifully, especially with the AS3X programmed with my AR636b that I bought for the plane. Sure looks like a shooting star with the tip tanks and more than enough power. Flying time with my Venom 6s 50c 5000mah pack is about 3 and a half minutes. Only 3 flights so far and oh man I love her so much. This is totally a great 1st edf for anyone coming from a trainer and warbirds. A scale airplane that flys much like an Avanti. What more can you ask for?

Very well thought out Model! Assembly was a breeze and I finished in about an hour. The finish is one of the best I have seen. The landing gear looks like it will definitely handle Grass ops and the occasional Dumb Thumb landing. The gear doors fit as near to perfectly as possible right out of the box. The instructions are adequate for the Modeler that This EDF is intended for. The only con I can say about this plane is its missing Lights. With the Blue box already installed it would have been the Icing on the Cake to include wing and nose landing lights in My humble opinion. I will be adding them Myself to make Mine personally Mine. 5 STARS straight out of the box! I am looking forward to the Maiden Flight when Spring finally arrives and Melts the Foot + of Snow off our Club field near Grand Rapids MI! Pics to be added when the Field is safe for Flight Ops from Wheels!
