“Nothing bad to say about this one except they seem to be getting more expensive. Took 2.5 hours to assemble including the removal of the MCBe, wing interconnection ribbon cable/ connectors, and soldering on my favorite battery connector and then setting up the radio. Built it and flew it the same day which was very breezy and gusty.There is no reason for the MCBe on this plane for me as once assembled I keep it assembled. With no lights or the need of a gear door sequencer I removed it. The long, high aspect wing with a good amount of dihedral makes this plane fly like the trainer it was in real life. It simply flies fantastic and has no bad traits. For me the throws were good. The flap to elevator called out (0.5 and 1.0mm) where a little too much for me so I reduced them a little. The CG was, like many planes, a little nose heavy so I have since move it aft and find it more to my liking. I also added a small aileron to rudder mix (right rudder with right aileron) and like the roll better.The new motor/ fan works very well and I get a solid 5min from my 5200 pack where I get 4 from my other 80mm FreeWing EDFs. Not only do I get more flight time is seems to have a slight edge in thrust too.The plane is very stable and would be a great first EDF. This stability also make snaps and flat spins a little more difficult to enter but once in they are very clean. It does a great, nice and flat, inverted flat spin.I was going to paint it a red white and blue scheme but in person the stock silver scheme really looks great. I was also going to add a FPV system but the canopy really would deter from a good picture.Another great plane, thank you Freewing and Motion!”

“Hi,Did quite a bit of research on this model and read only good reviews. Was thinking along the lines of maybe waiting to purchase as we get closer to Spring. But, I was holding off on the purchase. I did show it to my wife and told her that I was thinking about purchasing one. Reason being is that I am familiar with the real thing and did work on them while in the USAF, thus it became a personal thing.One thing that I did notice was that MOTION posted a note that this model was a hot item and that they were hard to keep in stock. I thought to myself, yea right as every supplier says that. LOL Well, it is a good thing that my wife believes people. She went ahead and purchased one as a birthday present for me and it arrived this past Saturday. Even though my birthday is not until February. And guess what ? Just a couple of days after my T-33 arrived, MOTION posted it as being OUT OF STOCK .Moral to my little story is that if you like this or any other model and it is listed as being a HOT ITEM, listen to them and BUY IT . Especially this T-33 model as it is GREAT !”

“This jet was so easy to assemble and was really all strait forward in all aspects of the assembly. The flight characteristics of this beautiful T33 is where she really shines though. What a great flying and performing aircraft. She looks so good in the sky and on the ground the paint scheme is absolutely fantastic and helps to keep a clear indication of orientation. Wow it has been really hard to say I have a favorite but now that this one has come along it is clearly the one I can say is my favorite. I have the FW 90 F22, FW 90 F18, FW 80 L39 and several other really good ones from other manufacturers and yes one I like the best.”

“Got it Saturday, flew it Sunday. Very nice flier. Very fast but also easy and stable in slow flight. Easier on the batteries too. 4 to 5 minutes no problem. This one will make a good first EDF jet also. Excellent work Freewing!”

“Pre-ordered this the day after James presented this aircraft. I received it yesterday and I have to say it’s everything he said it is. It was extremely easy to assemble, has plenty of room for your receiver and any other electronics you may want to install. I’m hoping for some decent weather to go fly it. Motion Hangar includes: F-22, F-15, F-16, F-4, F-5, A-10, Old Crow P-51, and now T-33”
