This is my 3rd airplane from MotionRC and I am just blown away by the quality of the T-33. Everything was perfect from packaging to instructions to assembly. I am really impressed especially with the paint and graphics. All topnotch and blemish free. The cockpit canopy is crystal clear and perfectly formed. Can't wait to fly, but I fully expect it will be a pleasure like my F-4 and A-10. You guys knocked it out of the park on this one! Excellent value!

On unpacking, I noticed some scuff marks on the wing and fuse. This was an easy for me as I mixed the colors to match. The main problem I had was getting the gears to deploy. I did a second binding to make sure this was not the issue. This did not help. I dis-assemble the wing and traced the gears to the source and was able to deploy this way. Therefore, this problems were not with the gears or radio. I moved the gear to another channel on the blue box and my radio. This solved the problem Not sure I want to use this little blue box. I think I will by pass on this one.

If I had to have only one RC plane it would be this one. Great looking, great performance, great flight times and under $400. Have already put over a dozen flights on mine. It is now my favorite. Buy it won't regret it.

I received mine as an early birthday present. Went together great and I added led navigation lights. The lights plug right into the control box in the plane. My dad was a WW2 pilot in the P-40 and went on to fly these and F-80 in the Air force reserve and out of the Burbank Lockheed Plant when he worked there. Nice fit and finish. I may apply a satin finish to protect the paint.

Freewing really hit a home run with this model design. One of the easiest to fly EDF's yet, but great vertical performance. The trailing link landing gear design is great (better than oleo style) and the mechanically actuated gear doors really work and save the complexity of additional servos. My maiden was a total non-event and I landed without so much as a click of trim -- I can't remember that ever happening before. The assembly is extremely fast and the parts practically click together. My only complaint: to say that the silver paint on this has poor adhesion would be an understatement. While I applaud the industry going to water-based paints, there just has to be a suitable primer that can be applied to the foam before painting. The paint job itself is very nice and the plane looks terrific as delivered, one of the few times I didn't have the immediate urge to repaint/remark.With each new release, I feel like Freewing is raising the bar, and setting new standards for foamie RTF EDF's. If you like the T-33, I can't believe there's anybody who won't love this airplane!
