“I flew my Panther five times when the front landing gear would not deploy. I had to bring it in with the main gear only and scratched up the bottom of the fuse. I called Motion and they weren't much help. I ordered another front landing gear servo and had the same problem. I bypassed the wiring to the "control box" for the new front gear and that didn't work either. Eventually, I loosed the front gear servo mounting screws, added some liquid Graphite and that seems to have fixed the problem. We'll see on the next flights. It's a shame, because the plane flies nice. The plane is small, so keep it close. I also painted wing pods on the wing tips silver, which helps a bit with orientation at a distance.”

“My 3rd plane, 1st EDF. I've had no problems flying this, handles well and very fast for a 70mm. Assembly should have been a breeze but the rudder and elevator servos that plug into the tail board could give you issues as it did me. And support is very basic in their help... almost useless. 2 elevator wires and 1 rudder. Make sure the servo wire with the white color plugs in the 2nd slot in the tail board ...”

“The Panther is great looking and flys great. The reason for 4 stars is that the nose gear was stuck in the up position and had to belly land. Airplane is Ok, but had several broken missiles. This nose gear will work on ground test, but in the air it sticks intermittently. I just ordered 2 retract actuators. When you get a new plane, you shouldn’t have to do this.”

“I flew it twice. Tried to get the CG corrected. On the second flight the nose gear did not extend on landing. Gone was the nice paint. Motion did send a new nose gear retract.”
