“This jet went together very fast, and flew very well. I've only made one flight on it sofar, because of the local winds, however it was very well behaved even in the cold wind, which was not up when I had left home. My local club field is 20 miles from home, so by the time I got to field, it was not really good flying weather.I fly with a Spektrum NX10 updated to AS3X+, I installed a Spektrum AR8360T receiver also updated to AS3X+ giving nosewheel correction. It was needed because of crosswind, and worked well. The Panther flew very well, with lots of power. The landing gear worked well, even on the second touchdown, which occured in the grass because of the gusty crosswind. I wish it was an 80mm sized EDF to go with the excellent Freewing F9F-8 Cougar, but this one will do till then.”

“Great Scale EDF Jet. Only modification I made was to add colored tape so I could see it easier when flying. Plastic around hatches would also be a nice additional touch.”

“I have had the pleasure of flying just about everything Freewing has made, but this little jet is at the top of my list. I was initially concerned about 70mm power, but this plane has got it in spades. It gets off our grass runway with room to spare and it's "Get out of my way !" speed is truly impressive. Flight characteristics are really great and landings make this old man look good. I don't give high ratings easily, but this one gets a 5 out of 5 from me.”

“Got it as a gift, already had the cheap plastic wing connector break. Not impressed. Probably going to resell instead of risking a return rejection and further loose money on the project”

“I purchased this bird and I am extremely satisfied, one of my favorite planes. I have only one complaint. I would love to see the F9F in a 90mm size. The lines on this bird are graceful and smooth flowing.I have many, many aircraft from Motion RC. The F9F ranks within the top10. I prefer the Panther over the Cougar.”
