“I changed up my power system to a Schubeler 90mm fan and a Het 700-68-1680 on 8s. I got to maiden it tonight and it was awesome. This plane needs lots of power so I am glad I put in the 8s setup. Flew like it is on rails and my climb out was really awesome. I think this plane flies heavier than any of the other freewing 90mm EDF planes I have had but I can say I think it is going to be a winner. It needed very little trim and 4 minute flights are going to be attainable.”
“So I am just putting mine together as winter has finally broken. I bought the Kit + version just so I could outfit it the way I wanted to on the power side. I am going with the 90mm Freewing metal setup Castle Edge 120hv ESC, and a NEU 1518/2d motor. I am pretty sure this is going to be way way overkill but hey I like power. Wanted to be able to use 8s or 10s. I will post again once the maiden and subsequent flights have been made”
“Lost my first T45 because the solder melted on one of the battery connectors,Just me not using throttle control.Now I resolder every battery connection on all my jets.The T45 is a great jet to begin with,now when you get the kit and up grade to a 8s set up you now have an awesome T45, Love it. “This is a great flying jet handles great able to land at low airspeed.My setup is 1450 kv freewing all metal 12 blade 3300 watts .castle creations esc phoenix edge lite 130 34v. 8 cell 5500 mah 35c.The flights aren't very long but its crazy fast rate of vert climb doesn't end.Hope you have good eye sight”
