“One of the best freeway jets. 30 minutes to assemble. Lots of compliments at the field. Our runway is at 5000 feet and is 350 feet. No issues taking off or landing with flaps alone. Plenty of power plenty of speed. The reverse thrust works great and was already pre-programmed to the ESC. All I needed to do was assign a channel to a switch on my transmitter. I’m running a 5200mah 6s and getting 3 1/2 minutes easy managing the throttle. I would imagine even more time with a 6000mah which I have 2 are on the way. I’m using an AR8020 T receiver with a 4651TSRLX2 satellite receiver extension. Reception signal is outstanding. Frame losses range between 0-2 per flight and 0 holds (of course) No need for Safe technology if you’re not using it now. But it’s a personal preference. I only wish they would use better glue on these models and more of it. This jet is solid in flight. Use low rates on initial flights to get a feel and adjust to your liking with high, mids and low rates. I waited a long time for this jet to restock (V2) and worth the wait. I like it so much I bought 2 so I can keep one in the hanger. I’m an older pilot and been flying a long time. I learned if you have a plane you love, get 2 if you can because replacement planes and spare parts are often hard to get. And five or six replacement parts can often cost the price of the entire plane. I don’t write a lot of reviews but I hope this information helps your decision to get this beauty. Don’t wait! No need for pictures in this review because it looks just like the ones you’re looking at in the motion rc pictures.”

“I purchased this plane over the winter finally got it out this summer and was pleasantly impressed how well it took off of grass. So far I have 5 flights on it and no gear issue. I did order spare gear parts because I expect that eventually I will need it. Also because they don’t seem to be able to keep them in stock and with my luck that’s when I will need it.”

“I’ve only been flying since August and I had to tell you this is one of my favorite airplanes already! Very, very, very Nibble! My first flight I had 100% throw 30% expo and I had to pump that back down to 80% throw and 40% expo! I actually come in a little quicker on approach with A little bit further aft CG Landed like butter, Only time I touch the speed brakes was on the ground. I have to say one of the coolest features about this airplane other than the lights Landing gear door sequence is awesome!The only negative thing I really have to say is I still haven’t been able to set up the reverse thrust I try to follow the directions that came with the ECS and I can’t get it to work… Other than that, love this airplane it’s a little bit more sporty than my Viber 90 mm. I have to say I think it makes it a little bit more fun.!!!”

“I do actually work on T-45’s for a living for the Navy and Marines, and thought I’d buy a scale remote controlled model of the same type of aircraft that I work on. Due to different factors, I haven’t been able to get it in the air yet. But Freewing continues to uphold scale details, and ease of assembly with this jet. I appreciate that the model has trailing arm doors in the lower part of the main landing gears, for unfortunately the Freewing British Red Arrow (Hawk T1) model I have, doesn’t have main landing gear doors on them. I’m looking to buy a turbine conversion kit for this model, so that I can add some realism to this. Thank You MotionRC for putting out PHENOMENAL products!!!”

“I purchased this because it a beautiful jet, who doesn't love the Goshawk.The finish is amazing, but that is where is ends. 1. Only one battery strap, should have 3.2. There is no mounting tray for the controller or for a gyro. Need to fabricate my own.3. No machine screws to hold the wing on. If you take the wing on and off a few times, I don't think i would trust the screws to hold it on.4. I got a bad servo wire, only one elevator would move, needed to replace the servo wire.Again beautiful EDF, but need to add more battery straps, machine screws for the wing and trays for controller.”

“Had my T45 Goshawk delivered today .... super quick ..... all in good condition and one of the most impressive foam models I have seen yet. Can't build or fly this yet but absolutely phenomenal model. There is always the risk that not building and flying for any great amount of time after delivery may prolong finding any issues ..... but I doubt it. I'm happy to take that risk based on prior reviews.The parts are so crisp and well finished, if the performance is anywhere near as good ....... then this is a winner.Delighted customer.”
