“I had a minor issue with the main gear strut springs (one was longer than the other) that I worked out with Motion. Other than that, this is a dynamite jet. I flew it off grass with an HRB 6000 and had no problems. With the battery at the back of the wooden tray like James had it in the video, the balance was perfect. It hardly required any trim. The speed brakes are operational but I didn’t need them and didn’t deploy them. The takeoff was a bit longer than most jets but this big boy is heavy. Once airborne and on step, the speed was good but not overly fast. It maintains its momentum through the turns and feels smooth and predictable. Landings were uneventful. With its size and coloring, this jet is easy to see at all times. I was worried about the weight but that wasn’t an issue. The scale detail is just amazing and the jet sounds great.”
