My track will proceed me. I have bought many F-14’s…. Like it’s a problem, I know. But I will say that the cure to it all has been replacing the elevator servos with Hitechs. I have lost 3, F-14 because the elevator servos quit….. Every time. First they are cheap and I completely understand you have to in order to keep cost low. But it’s awful…. Secondly, you run the elevator wires too close to the motor. They are pinched to the wall by a motor running at uber sensitive vibration. You need to pull the wires away from the motor and tape them to the wall behind the motors, not “on them”. So I replaced and ran them straight to the receiver, bypassed the board. Then programmed elevons. It’s the only way to have long-lasting success with the bird. You’re welcome.

This is my second F-14. Flew the first one until something broke. Took a while for that to happen. The fit of the access panel over the wing is much better than the last one. The only negative is the foam is not quite as well done as the big Spitfire: numerous pinholes. Not objectionable but a tad disappointing. If there was a 1/2 star available this would be a 4 1/2 star rating. The steering servo was bad but Motion, as they always do, replaced it about as quickly as it is possible to do! I like the jet. I like the way it flies, especially with the RC Geek setup. I like the price too. It's rare for me to miss an airplane after it's gone but this is one of them.
