“ After several years with the A-10, F-22, and F-4, I finally found a way to break the pin. F-4 failed to flare due to a stripped servo arm on the elevator. Glad this is made a soft material as to absorb the stress instead of the stress being absorbed in other components. Don't know if it was by design or to keep costs down in manufacturing, but well done.”
