“Powerful edf, take off in grass with not problem strong landing gear, flew stock with no issues, fast and need at least 40 expo in high rates, cons foam is delicate and will popcorn if left in light sun, need to cover the plane in all times or been in shadow. No mixing during flap deployment, recommend half flaps to take off, cg is stock in mine, find cg very nice. using 2 6000 6 cells, cobra maneuver easy in high rates with no TV, flight the airplane into landing, do not let it plunch, and flare at least 2 inch from ground, deploy full flaps if is not wind at all is a must, plane set up by the book, take off with half flaps, TV will be installed after been more familiar with plane, need video of setting TV angles for the exhaust. Overall this is the best plane EDF I own, I do have a E-Flite SU30 and will not take off in grass, the Mig 29 is a beast, will take off in 30 feet in grass no problem. Landing can be tricky, but easy.”

“The biggest issue with this jet, is that it completely ruined the rest of my EDF collection for me. After flying the Mig, I lost interest for all of the smaller jets. The size matters apparently! )) I am not a big fan of how they positioned the blue box, and arranged the wiring under the canopy. There is a bit of work to get this jet flying well. I spent hours to get this jet ready for maiden. But it was all worth it!In my opinion, this jet is a great value. You get a lot of jet for the money. The stock power, though not too impressive on paper (static T/W ratio isn't very high), in the air the Mig performs really well. I don't know what it is, the weight / inertia of the jet, or the dynamic performance of the fans. But the verticals are great, the acceleration and speed are also very adequate, and the sound is impressive. I clocked it going around 119mph (200km/h). The airframe is phenomenal. It can slow down very well, glide forever. Certainly has a presence in the air. Also, it is one of the easiest jets to fly and land, which is a bonus.Make sure the CG is behind the factory CG marks (at least 10mm behind). I highly recommend the Mig! Just DON'T deploy the flaps while going full speed! ;)”

“I would have to say dnt let the size scare you just give your self enough room for errors. Over all this jet has to be my favorite it just wants to fly, Its very durable and ones you get it dialed in it fly's better than n e thing I would recommend this jet. Their is only one bad thing I can hold against it and that is nothing bad I can talk about it its perfect. For people having elevator problems and crashing all I can say is be smooth dnt yank on the sticks it is a lot bigger than the 70-80mm. I got about 30-35 flights on mine.”

“This is my second review. In the first one I told about problems with the flap servos that nearly crashed the plane. After that damage was fixed I had another crash...this time due to lifting the nose on takeoff too soon before getting enough airspeed. The plane pitched vertical, climbed a few feet, stalled and crashed. Rebuilt it again and repainted it in airshow colors. About a dozen flights more and then the final crash. This time I lowered the flaps at too high airspeed and the jet pitched down and crashed....total destruction! I loved the way the plane looked and flew...except for the gremlins and gotcha's that kept popping up. If you get one just research all the info on how to modify and fly the plane so it won't crash.”

“Love the jet, the way it flies and the size! It's also very fairly priced. This said, the stock stab servos, pushrods and assembly are a bit weak for the task IMO. They will bend badly under load, particularly if you happen to be flying nose heavy and drop flaps at moderate to high speeds.I hope the next batches sort this out. So... I'd recommend to install tougher servos on the stabs with better pushrods and to replace the stock BEC (8A) by a more powerful one (20A). The stab assembly can be reinforced with a GF laminate or by epoxying in the vertical stabs. Other than that, the jet is a blast to fly, so get one and see what a big and heavy jet feels like! :D”
