“This plane exceeded my expectation for looks and quality. Because our local flying field is under repair I haven't been able to fly it yet, but with the correct CG it should fly fantastic like all my other large Motion RC aircraft.”

“Great value - looks good sitting on work table - 3 flights with elevator at half of recommended before realized needed to adjust - still flew well , but landed a bit hard with low elevator throw - no damage - testament to just how forgiving this jet is - would recommend as a second or third jet as the size can be intimidating - have 544 flights on my first jet from motion - L-39 looks a bit rough but still flies well - lots of hard landings - so even though these are foam jets you should get lots of flights out of them”

“Lost Mig 29 on 3 rd flight.Learned that the blue control created a condition with flaps causing them to fully lock / bind in opposite directions.Radio commands were 100% ignored. Even after unplugging aux 1 / flap channel on RX they were still powered & binding. I captured the plane in its condition on ground , still powered but because I didn't capture video a replacement was denied.I've never had a claim with any other manufacturer, dealer & yet Freewing has been 2 for 3 in loss or hard required modification or electronic upgrade right out of box.Birdcage Corsair is goodF 18 required strengthening/ mod on Elevator new out of box - instructions provided on HobbysquawkMig 29 required new stronger , provided Elevator servos installed right out of box.I was schooled for the entire cost of the Mig 29 for not capturing video.Again , Ive never had to do a claim for Ive never lost a new PNP plane on 3dd flight as well.Its ok - moving onwardRJ”

“I unfortunately had a defective servo in my Original mig. Long story short it crashed due to the fault. I contacted Motion and after a fair investigation and review process along with taking back the servo for testing they confirmed the fault and replaced the Mig. Great looking and flying plane and even better customer service from Motion!”

“I really like russian jets and this one is a great looking example of the mig29. The quality of the construction is the best I have seen from Freewing yet. The landing gear feels very sturdy and able to take on grass landings when I need to not to mention the how cool it is to see then tuck completely up and be covered. Really makes for great looking low passes. I usually feel like I have to do modifications to most Freewing planes to make them stronger or more durable, but this one has only had an upgrade to the control links of the elevator. Im sure it would have been fine, but I felt like it needed to be more study cause I could see a little bit of flex when pushing or pulling the horizontals. Probably would have been fine if i left it stock. I needed the extra weight in the back for the heavier batteries I am using anyways. Expect to do some carving in the foam hatch to fit 5000mah batteries unless my batteries are abnormally big. No problem though. It was a 30 minute job. I have a couple dozen flights on it so far and have no issues. I like CG about 10mm behind the factory marking. Landing are very easy with predictable control, performance is great, and is a awesome scale flyer.”

“I crashed my Mig 29 on flight 7. I have also seen others crash the same exact way - jet noses down and loses elevator authority for some reason. Motion sent new elevator servos but it’s not clear if these fixed the problem they were worried about. This is a great model and I sincerely hope that the root cause is found and fixed. I have two of these so besides this elevator issue that some pilots have had I loved this model. That’s the reason for my 3 stars.”
