“I love this little P51. It flies and performs like every mustang I've owned. I love flying this one. It's quiet, it's fast, and it's smooth. Loops and rolls are a blast, perfection. Switch the props to APCs and you'll be happy. Also, adding a rudder is a breeze, well worth it.”

“I love the little Mustang. It’s great fun to fly, either “scale slow” or at speed. It’s really easy to assemble too and has a strong airframe capable of withstanding some heavy landings while getting the thing set up.Now for the caveats. My experiences could be due to using a 3s battery (and not having enough power for “instant airspeed”) or not having experience in hand launching but here goes:First attempt to launch was uncontrollable and hit the ground hard breaking the supplied prop (which is very weak).For second attempt I fitted a separate gyro unit and replaced the prop with a Master Airscrew of the same size. At 30% gain take off was OK but the plane oscillated at anything more than “dead slow speed”. I dialled the gain down and crashed on take off again (would have broken the stock prop but the Master Airscrew coped just fine).For the third flight I fitted an AS3X RX out of another plane and set it up on a switch on my TX for 30% gain, 15% and off. (I also have 3 rates on a switch).Perfect take off this time on full gyros and mid rates, switched to mid gyros and low rates for the rest of the flight. This setup cracked it for me (if I’d have know this at the outset I’d have no “battle damage” on the plane but they fly better after you’ve bent them up a bit :) )”
