“I purchased this plane thinking that with the 4S battery it would be pretty fast. However, I was disappointed in the overall speed. It does hand launches fairly well. Quality is good and the time it takes to assembly is fast. I think it was a little pricey compared to Tower Hobbies P-51 for about $20. bucks less .Overall, it's a good flyer, but, a little too expensive for what you're getting.”

“The P-51D Mustang 850mm is a very nice kit that can easily be painted for example with the nose/tail colors you like.It's easy to build and the few parts fit well. For the setup the low rates of the manual did fit perfect for the maiden.The Mustang can be launched easily by underhand throw and it's also easy to land without that the prop would break.I would recommend this as a second plane / intermediate as it is nimble and fairly fast on 4S and still plenty fast on 3S.The Mustang has unlimited vertical on 4S and does also climb or loops with ease on 3S. The missing rudder can be added (there is already a servo hole for it) if you like, for me tbh I only missed it a bit when doing heavy crosswind landings. Otherwise the plane flies great an stable also in curves without the need of rudder input.I found 4s 1800 packs or 3S 2200 to fit perfectly and with them you can easily get flight times of 8mins (and more with the 3S 2200) which is very nice for such s fast plane.The Mustang looks awesome in the air when flown slower and scale and is super fun when going full beans.”
