“Assembly easy, although I am not keen on the security of the front screws. Other than that it flies brilliantly. We have number of these at our club and we mass launch and race, "avoid" collisions. We are all using 4 cells. Capable of very un-scale vertical climbs. Great fun.”

“Poor. Having bought 3 of these, hoping the next one would be better, I am extremely disappointed in the motor and esc. I love flying the plane, but the equipment is garbage. If you use a 4S 2200 battery, be prepared for many dead stick landings. On two different stock MotionRC escs, after landing with a dead motor, on inspection I found melted solder in the bottom of the fuselage from the esc. Twice. Two different brand new stock escs and two brand new motors. I tied to work with MotionRC but because I was outside the 30 day warranty window they wouldn’t make it right, even when it is clearly a defective esc. Why, may you ask, did I wait until after the 30 days, to fly it? Because I was helping my family get through two hurricanes. This was my first flight with the plane upon returning to Ohio. For want of a $15 esc replacement, they lost a customer for life who had already spent over $500 with them on planes and parts. BUYER BEWARE!”

“This is a great base for a well performing plane! Installed a AR631 receiver and it rips! It is also very rugged and handles belly landing well and survived a crash that would have destroyed many others. Good size for tossing in your car and heading out.It is possible to cut & hinge the rudder for improved turning if you feel you need it.”

“I was absolutely shocked at how well this P51 flew. I have 4 other 750mm - 800mm warbirds and this plane hands down is the best flying of the lot even though it is a bank-and-yank bird! I fly this on a 3S 2200mah battery and it has more than enough power to do wide loops, split-S's and any other typical warbird aerobatics! I haven't flown it on 4S, but to be honest, it really isn't needed. I have had zero issues with hand launching, but I do use a gyro and launch with a self leveling mode which I turn off almost immediately afterwards. The slow flight capability is excellent, better than any other small warbird I have without flaps! I couldn't believe how well this plane tracked. Definitely like it was on rails! Landings were smooth as well. I saw James from Motion cut the throttle, point the nose slightly down and glide her in. I didn't believe it would work as my other warbirds need power or they drop a wing and spiral to the ground. But sure enough, I couldn't believe how easy it landed on grass. The only negative is the stock propellers appear to be a bit brittle and I snapped a few on landing. I replaced them with a 9X6 Gemfam and haven't had a snapped prop since! My suggestion, BUY IT! I'm going to pull the trigger on the FW-190 soon! Great plane Motion and well done!”
