“I made the mistake of maidening this P51 on a 3S 2200...with a dirt road as my landing strip. Took a small chunk out of the scoop, no biggie. She is FAST and will get away from you quick. At 30% expo, she was very twitchy. Advise a minimum of 40% expo and a 3S 1300. Lighter and much smoother, able to slow down much better. This plane, at this price point, is an absolute winner when compared to similar sized P51's on the market. I would like to see the next version with a rudder and rudder servo included and a single piece elevator joined with good, 2mm thick wire. Easy to assemble, but to operate you need to have SOME experience with fixed wing RC flight. NOT a beginner plane. And I LOVE that there is no gyro included with this plane. Pick a calm day to fly, just like you would with a full scale small aircraft. Gyro's need to go, or at least be an option, not standard equipment.”

“I would have given this a 4 star because the prop broke on my maiden flight. I literally was so nervous I pulled the throttle back and the ESC is set to break, and the plane went 5 feet and came down and it broke. Was it my fault or what. More than likely that's why the 5 star even though I have not flown the plane. I am not use to the break however, since I have changed my ESC on my other P-51 1440 mm and I really have liked the break on the ESC. It is also suppose to help with propeller drag. Mostly to prevent prop breakage and that did not help me on my maiden flight.”

“This P-51 Mustang from FlightLine is something you should consider if you are an RC airplane enthusiast. Its easy to assemble and set up, and flying it is a blast. You can go almost as fast as an 50mm EDF or as slow as a trainer Cessna 182 with stable control. I wouldn't recommend this as a beginner plane, but if you have experience with bank and yank planes, I would definitely get one. I plan to get a few more just for back up cause its affordable and fun to fly, and the belly part of the plane is set up the way its supposed to be on an foamy, with hard plastic. Other models should adopt this feature,”
