“the transfer sheet with all the small transfers on didn't have any adhesive on them when i peeled them off so i couldn't apply them, and with the CG on the position in the instructions i am constantly having to adjust the elevator trim at different throttle settings, if not it climbs vertically on full throttle and dives to the ground on low throttle, i have put some more down thrust on the motor i will see how it flys now, if i still have the same problem then maybe its time too take some incidence off the wing or tailplane”

“I really enjoy this plane. I would recommend to go to the spare parts and pick up Flightline spitfire spinner 4 blade and to get rubber wheels But I really recommend getting another spinner which is what the blades connect to while shipping is free You may find that the stickers/decals might be hard to put on”

“Motor moynt came loose during ground test run and prop scraped foam fuselage. Refitted tightened screws, yet to fly. Decals took longer than model build. They were stuck hard to backing and difficult to transfer to model. Some help in the manual with receiver, gyro and telemetry module location would have been useful. Impossible to mount receiver antennas perpebdicular to each other in space available. A tube in the wing might have been useful. Haven't flown it yet. I expect the lack of landing gear shock absorbers could be a source of ground loop issues and subsequent prop damage. I really wish the nylon control surface hinges were pre-installed. This all said, it is a great looking Spitfire.”

“This isn’t the typical 55” size 4S warbird. By going a tad smaller they have given the power to weight ratio a real boost. This machine has significant performance advantages. Speed and climb are impressive. Duration is also good. Misses include control horns that are too small. I have maximized my linkages but still have rates around 50%. Not good. And the fin/rudder is small. Expect little or no control authority after touchdown. It either noses over or it doesn’t. You are just a witness after the wheels are down. However, the small tail area rewards with looks and speeds that make it worth it. This is not a sport plane. Like most scale planes it rewards and penalizes based on your ability to fly the plane on its terms. Fly it like a Spitfire and it’s amazing.”

“I wish the landing gear was more stable. After several landings I have to straighten out the landing gear otherwise will not retract. Our landing strip is manicured grass.”
