“Very disappointed with the quality control of the manufacturer. I have had 3 issues so far and only had 2 flights. During assembly found a defective center wing section and a defective control box. After the second flight the left motor locked up while taxying to the pit area. I will say that Motion RC has the best customer service I have ever experienced. They replaced the defective wing section and control box very promptly and are in the process of replacing the defective motor. Wish that the wires on the ESC were longer as I will have to disassemble the center wing section to gain access to the wires in order to replace the defective motor. I opted for the landing gear upgrade. They are very tedious to install as you have to disassemble the retracts to install them. The plane flies great. Only had to add 3 clicks of right aileron to trim it out. If it weren't for the issues I described I would give it a 5 star rating.”

“Everything about the plane is great except....... Beware, my motor mounts pulled out at 3-1/2 minutes of the maiden flight. Thank God i had just landed when engine 2 pulled out of the cowling and #1 was wobbling. I put much heavier screws in the mounts and everything is fine now. I don't know why the mounts only had 1/2 inch #4 screws holding the motor mounts to the frame. I would advise checking or replacing them with heavier screws before flying.”

“all I can say is WOW!! awesome airplane, I am an intermediate skill flyer, I love the warbirds. this plane is amazing. Right out of the box easy assembly just pay close attention to the polarity on the blue box (little issue not plugged in correctly all me) everything worked great. First flight out hardly had to set any trim. Just wish I had someone there to video it. Lots of power on stock motors with 2x 4s 3200 mah Lipos. If you like the warbirds I highly recommend this plane.”

“I was very much surprised at the quality and finish of this foam P-38. I set it up using the Admiral 4s 3000 and balanced as shown on the setup sheet. It’s very stable unless you want to burn holes in the sky. It gives plenty of warning before it stalls. At half throttle I get 8 and a half minutes of flight and the batteries still have 48-52% left. It’s a great plane”

“I have three FlightLine Silvers, imax charger DX6 radio, AR6600T receiver, Batt Box and Admiral 3000 batts and more from Motion RC, (will need more items shortly), VERY GOOD MODELS. I'm still training with Carbon Cub and Apprentice, Hope to fly a Lightning about September.”
