“I watched the Motion RC Youtube videos for assembling the P-38. I must say, the design fo the P-38 has come a long way. It went together very easily and replacing the landing gear with the upgrade version was MUCH easier than the video showed. I have yet to fly it, but from all the videos I’ve seen I can’t wait!”

“Great Aircraft, I was debating this or the F7F but the 38 won cause I'm reading a WWII pacific book with the 38's heavily illustrated in them and have a friend with a real one. Takes a little more assembly time than the simple models and care to not ding or dent it but a beautiful aircraft when assembled. Very majestic looking in flight and scale too. I love the attention to detail and the outboard counter rotating props just like the real deal, which if you lose an engine (highly unlikely with electric, LOL) will give you two critical engine situations with p-factor, and those timed sequenced gear doors and retracts for a hunk of foam are pretty sweet. I ordered mine with the Strut gear which is nice for smooth transitions on / off the runway and greater scale presence. I also ordered the Upgraded engine and two blade prop kit, I have to say I have never seen an electric accelerate so fast from a standstill if you want to use full power for an extremely disproportionate scale takeoff, you can punch it and rotate the model right into an absolute vertical climb and accelerate in the vertical line basically out of sight has more than 3d power. I have been running it with the big motors and 3 blade props just cause they look so great and have been seeing almost 90mph measured on GPS @ around 3,000ft above sea level. Maybe I'll install the two blades some day for max MPH but....... It can be fast but is also so incredibly graceful to fly it slow and lumbering low above the wheatfields where I live. Rolls, Loops, and Inverts very well and Tracks pretty beautifully for a twin boom foam. It probably lands slower than you need with extreme flaps I have set at about 60 degrees down with about a 1/4 of elevator down trim mixed in and carrying a little power if not diving for runway. Great stable flyer with NO GYRO!!!! My favorite thing is to slow fly at about 5ft and hammer the power and go right into a limitless vertical climb. My only Complaint is that the landing light was Dead on arrival and so was one of the Light ports in the combined plug in junction box but who cares, not enough time to send in for fixing. I have not put stickers on yet but it will look even better. Very Docile Solid bird that does most anything well but Knife edge but that's not really relevant here now is it!!! BUY BUY BUYP.S. I'm running a Multitude of Packs but big ones as I like lots of Fuel....7500MAH/ 45c single 4 cell6500MAH/ 55c Single 4 cell5500MAH/ 70c Single 4 cell, Avg Batt Dimensions are 5.5-6inch long x 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 high, with good canopy clearance. It does not even notice the weight or care, flys slow with a mild touch of up trim due to larger packs but mid-high speed regime you need to trim down again so pretty neutral, battery all the way back to physical aft stop. May even try and squeeze a 10000 MAH in there and see what it does!!!!This is also not a cheap foamie once you do the gear and Engine upgrades over $500 bones. Thats the only problem with the foam aesthetics is they get hangar rash over time worse than our traditional comp or wood stuff of older days, I guess I have to be careful with it.Over and out”

“Nice looking plane, easy to assemble. Takes off, flies, and lands easy but there's no way it will achieve the 81 m.p.h. claimed without a steep dive and a big tail wind, its seems more like around 50 m.p.h. to me in level flight with no wind.Mine has had no problems handling short grass with the stock landing gear and wheels.”
“Received very quick as normal for Motion rc Europe on opening the box and removing the plane well what can I say I have been flying planes for over 18 years but the detail on this plane was the best I have seen yet . flying wise I fitted uprated landing gear and she fly's on rails think I need to get another one when I have some more cash”
