“Can't say enough about how much I love this plane!! I snapped one up before I even finished reading the review when it was featured in the AMA magazine when it first came out and was immediately out of stock. VERY STABLE with no surprises. Watched all the info videos and set up everything but the extra rudder movement as it was jamming the nose gear when retracted. He wanted more rudder for knife edge. With the down elevator mixed in when I drop the flaps I don't notice any change in the flight at all. With or without flaps it gets right into the air in a hurry even off grass. Bought a 2nd one last time they had a sale as I thought they were going to discontinue it. Installed the landing gear upgrade on the 2nd one. Good for the clumpy grass field . 2 things of note however. The pin in the nose gear retract breaks very easy if you hit too hard or hit a clump of grass, as I have to fly from grass flying sites only. Better than the whole assembly busting guess, but need to keep extra pins in the home or field 'service' box. Also, I'd like to see more room in the nose pocket for the forward battery. if your battery gets a bit puffy, it can be a VERY tight fit for both the front battery and getting the cockpit/cabin piece to slide in. Been told a puffy battery was bad, but I have LOTS of puffy batteries that charge fully and give full runs to a variety of sizes and planes so I have to disagree with that point, but a bigger nose pocket would be of help. Too snug in there!”

“Fly’s great, put on the upgrade motors and it moves ! 102 mph yet slows down nicely for landing . Looking for a twin engine plane that looks awesome, get it”

“Never calculated the wing loading. It is a heavy airplane but flies great. Just make sure to have lots of take-off speed and power on. Don’t be timid.”

“The F7 app is a great flying twin. It’s a great RC airplane. This is my “third” F7F. F7F-1 and F7F-1a became packing peanuts because of electrical problems. As I said it’s a great twin, but it’s also a complex RC aircraft which needs constant attention and preventive maintenance (just like a full-size airplane) to insure that critical components (electronic/electrical) do not fail causing conversion of a beautiful Tigercat into packing peanuts. Always check the integrity of the electronic connections prior to flight during your preflight. Bad connections caused the demise of my first Cat (took two crashes to total the Cat).I’m now on number 3 and intend to keep her around for a long time- she flies that great. My only gripe relates to the “decals.” I use graphics from Callie but decided to use the stock red ‘Propeller - Danger’ markings and was disappointed in the quality. Had to use canopy glue to get it to adhere - can’t compare to Callie’s graphics. Otherwise, well worth getting if you’re into twin & warbirds.”

“Love the looks of this plane especially with Callie graphics but have waited a month for replacement spinners that failed due to small amount of loctite wicking onto back of hub. The ONLY reason that happens was I broke reverse rotation prop on maiden and waited so long on replacement prop I decided to reverse reverse rotation on that motor and try right hand prop and since factory screw had blue loctite (dry type) I assumed it was a good idea to use small amount of blue loctite when reapplying spinner screw. Not happy with this purchase overall due to availability of very key spare parts.”
