“Beautiful. I fly off grass and have already torn-out one main l/g. No damage to foam and easy to epoxy back in. Great flyer. Looks great with retracts up. I'm not a fan of larger foam scale planes, but this and the P-38 are terrific, and definitely worth the money. I'm using a 2650mah (6s) battery and no problem with the c/g or the 16 4 blade prop. Currently having a problem with the right flap not extending when flying, but landing with only one flap, is not a problem, if you are careful. Retracts are a work of art.”

“I purchased this spitfire because I find it to be the most beautiful RC airplane on the market now. Assembly was easy, however my maiden flight wasn't. After 6 minutes of fun in flight, I had an unfortunate accident and the plane was total loss. Still trembling from the shock, I immediately ordered another one. This one is now ready for maiden flight, but I'm waiting for optimal circumstances. Anyway, an outstanding model, nice scale and simply gorgeous to look at.”

“I ran into a problem putting on the sky tail rapper decal. I didn't get it on flat and when i tried to smooth it out, I lifted the paint under and around the decale. I now have the paint to repair it and should be flying it this weekend. It is surperb kit incorperating the latested in control techo logy.”

“This is one beautiful plane, as is the case with all of the Flight Line planes. I now own 5 of them and at one time owned 6, which can attest to how much I like these models. The 1600mm Spitfire looks and flight beautifully. I was a little intimidated by the plane at first, as I own the 1200mm Flight Line Spitfire and can find it a little pitchy on landings. Being that this plane is much bigger, heavier and faster, I was worried that I would mess things up with this one. Not a chance!! This plane tracks clean, rolls quickly for the size and floats in for landings. Fantastic job Flight Line and Motion RC! I did have an issue with a broken cable on the blue box when the plane arrived, but one email accompanied by a photo and Motion RC was shipping out a new one! Fantastic plane, fantastic service! While it isn't the most convenient to order products to Canada from Motion, I will continue to give them my business due to their top notch service and products. Thanks Motion RC.I chose to go with a custom graphic from Callie Graphics for the RCAF 403 "Wolf" Squadron, Blue Squadron. It is the same squadron Johnnie Johnson flew with, but I already had that on the 1200mm version.”

“At this time I've built and flown the 1600mm Spitfire. The actual build was one of the fastest ARF's I've ever completed. Applying the decals took substantial time as part of them were difficult to apply. The combining board appeared defective so I went the Y harness route. However this warbird is the best performing of this size group I've flown. Very powerful, even with the somewhat inefficient 4 blade prop. Vertical is nearly unlimited. Try that with other foamie Warbirds! I use a 6S/5000/50C for power. I fly aircraft from IMAC gas Giants to foamie EDF's. Love them all. I've enjoyed R/C for over 50 years and I'm a retired Master/FAI Pattern competitor. This Spit is a good flying bird and it's fun to fly.”
