the plane is nice but the mechanism to connect servos of the wing to the receiver is not so good you need to add some extensione wire. the plane is very nose heavy, so shall be balance carefully. again, not for beginner, even take off and landing is not easy for beginner.

Building the Spit was very easy as all Motion RC planes are. I found the plane well protected right out of the box with no issues. Again very straightforward easy to read directions and mated the plane to my radio with no problems. The handling was spot on with just a touch of up elevator she flew like a dream. I’m a big fan of this plane in particular not only for the history but how she flys. I absolutely recommend this plane to anyone who has even the slightest of interest. Take care and happy flying !

So when I unboxed the plane the pilot was not attached easy enough to fix just remove canopy and re-glue.Hooked up my receiver and it shorted out on the ailerons from the blue box so I installed a second receiver bypassing the blue box and it worked fine. Love the look of the plane will have to maiden when the weather clears up

After 3 years of postponing pulled the trigger on the big Spitfire this week. When unboxing directly saw the high quality of the build. Smooth surface of the foam and great paintjob. Building this week and hoping to maiden before winter comes.

I have crashed so many warbirds, Hawker Hurricane, Hawker Typhoon, 2 x Seafire and an IC Spitfire but this Spit keeps on going. Over 200 flights now and it gets loads of comments from onlookers. At first I was getting nose overs and heavy landings but I’ve got it sorted now. Keep the speed up on the approach and bleed it off during the flare. On take off, keep up elevator and gradually release it as the speed builds. Never forward the stick to raise the tail, especially on grass.

I have crashed so many warbirds, and Spitfires too. This one is fabulous, but it isn't for a beginner. If you fly other warbirds successfully then you will love it. It's a great quality and well balanced Spitfire. After replacing the landing gear about three times, gluing the wings and fuselage about ten times, I am finally getting the hang of it. I also own the Corsair and think it might be a better choice if you have less experience with warbirds. Overall, this Spitfire is my favorite so far. If you don't fly it much, display it, because it is beautiful!
