“Easy assembly great looking plane. Flies great very easy to land, no problems with retracts. Just land with power on, fly it flat just off the grass slowly cut power and touches down beautifully very scale looking with that big prop! Recommend without hesitation. Been flying regularly for 8 years, first war bird, mostly fly 3D planes but only 21/2 3D pilot. Flying on HRB 6s 6000 batt with about 7+ minutes flight time with mostly wide open passes.”

“love the airplane so far went together with ease have not had a chance to fly it yet one issue is i was doing some detailing with paint and the masking tape pulled up the original paint in many places thats my only complaint”

“This is a gorgeous plane; however, any kind of a rough landing and you've split the gear housing. This is complained about on the forums; why do they not make metal housings for the gear? I've bought two complete sets of mains so far. Why can't you buy just the housings? Also, be sure to set the CG a bit ahead of the 100 mm. Its pretty squirrley at 100 mm. Needed two extra slugs to get a good CG, contrary to what the manual says. Wrecked two planes until I got the CG right. I would definitely not recommend this plane.”

“Good plane but the main gear doors are susceptible to damage when landing on grass fields. Would like to see a double stage option to close doors when landing. That would keep doors from being ripped off.”

“I have been a fan of electric since I got back into the hobby six years ago, just no mess! I love the unique appearance of these aircraft in the air. I own Parkzone 1.1m, 6yrs, 3 fuse and 3 wings. Modified with 25 motor, RC sound, retracts, and Master Airscrew 14x9 for scale appearance (It will go vertical until you cut the throttle!) I still enjoy flying it, much heavier than original! Then I bought FMS 1.4m & 1.7m both way under powered even with the upgrade motors, but much better fliers with upgrades, weak retracts, replaced with Eflite retracts, much improved. Then came Eflite 1.2m. Best flyer, out of the box with 4Cell. Finally, came Flightline series, I bought both. I had a neighbor who flew them in WWII. I never learned this until his widow showed me a couple of his photos with birdcage canopy. I was surprised at lack of decals! These are by far the best performing out of the box F4U’s I have flown. I added more nose weight b/c I fly all of the with large batteries to extend flight time, 7K mah, 938gm is my preferred (which I also fly in Freewing 262) Flightline F4U will also climb vertical until you reduce power. Power for anything including vertical snap rolls, to the the amazement of my fellow club members! Great retracts, our field has both grass and old cracked asphalt. Last night flying at dusk, landing light and wing markers made it just that much easier to keeping orientation at landing. This is the best, THE BEST, flying model of foamy F4U I have flown! Detail is also the best to date for me, and nearly scale prop just give it that much more cool appearance. Mr RC Sound is next! Thank you Motion RC!”
