This is it, this is the one that everybody will be buying, for the best electric, foam Corsair out the Flightline, Freewing and MotionRC are the leaders in quality, easy to put together and great flying foam, electric airplanes and these new Corsairs are the one to brag about. Will be sending another review after I have finished personalizing it and have flown both the Bubble Top and Bird Cage with photos and maybe a video. Thanks again for the great Planes.

Great kit, smooth foam, a lot of detail, balanced by moving the 5000 ma battery to the rear edge of the battery board, no glue needed, and everything bolted together.

Overall quality is great! Only takes a few hours to assembly, including putting on the decals. I ordered Callie graphics for my plane and am extremely satisfied. Have only flown the Corsair 3 times but after minor trim adjustments fly's great. I am using a Gens Ace 5000 6S battery pretty much all the way forward.

Completed the build flightline has revolutionized transport of warbirds 55inch and over Gone are the days of cheap landing gear the retracts and trunions seem to be bullet proof Gone are the days of flimsy prop adapters that crack midair Gone are the days of a big slow underpowered dog of a cosair that needed zip ties under the props to get more pitch Gone are the days of magnetic cowls that pop of and get ground into confetti Gone are the days of flimsy plastic doors This thing even has a tailhook !!!!I thought the Spitfire was great well listen up This is built better way way better but the Spits great too make a zero and a 109 of this class throw in a few 190 and a stormovich I'll buy them too ...I'm going to need a bigger hanger ....I'll update in the spring when I fly this beast

I have other flightline aircraft, so I knew the quality was going to be there. I was amazed that a #2 Phillips tip screwdriver turned 14 screws for the main fuselage and 7 for the propeller. The wings are a ribbon style connection to a control board, which makes wing removal at the field a quick and painless prosess. Also 2 screws hold the main wing together so if you have a smaller vehicle the wings come apart easily. Now the maiden was a complete success, shortly after the tail lifted, she just lifted off the ground with ease (no flaps). A few clicks of elevator trim and a couple clicks of aileron. And she was rock steddy. The glide slope with 1st stage flaps and 20% throttle sets her down so smooth, it's almost as if there where rails guiding it to the ground oh so gentle. I'm very happy with this airplane. All the other pilots at my field where commenting on the scale look on the ground and how smooth and effortlessly she flew threw the sky. So thrilled to have that comfirmation form my fellow pilots that I made the right desition. I'm looking forward to many more fun days ahead.

I haven't flown it yet, in my part of the country I'll have to wait until spring (or a rare mid-winter warm day) - but I can hardly wait. I have to agree with Will Kuenzel (previous review), this bird is absolutely outstanding. I purchased mine in the pre-order when it was first released. It arrive in a big box with the parts nested in form-fitting Styrofoam in two layers. Each major part is bagged and protected in it's form-fitting cradle, so there's practically no chance of damage. The part count on this plane is fairly low and it is very easy to assemble. Bolt on the stab and the fin, each has 4 small screws. The two wing halves bolt together (2 screws) with a CF spar and then the entire wing is mounted on the fuselage with 4 larger screws. (the wing, by the way, is ROCK SOLID.) That was all there was to it, besides putting the prop together and installing the control rods on the servos. The wing will be very easy to remove so you can transport this big bird more easily. Each wing panel has a ribbon connector which plugs into the control board in the fuselage, making wiring simple. All I had to do was connect the wires to the receiver channels and plug in a battery and it was ready to test. First thing that happens is the retracts activate (With sequenced doors). Of course the gear rotates and when they come down the landing light on the wing comes on (very cool). The wingtip lights are on all the time.As Will mentioned, this plane includes some really cool details that aren't apparent from the photos. There are scale oil coolers in the wing (vented, so they might even whistle), there are raised panel lines and recessed panel lines, some rivet detail in spots, the cockpit has a decent instrument panel decal and pilot (3D-printed cockpit parts are available if you have a 3D printer), there are dual engine exhausts, removable/replaceable antennas, and more. Event he inside of the wheel wells are detailed and the retractable steerable tail wheel is a nice touch. (No pitot tube, which is unusual.) The recessed high-quality hinges on the control surfaces are really nice, but the multi-part flaps are super-cool. (4 servos for 6 flap panels). Once of the things that impressed me the most was the massive 3-blade propeller. The stand-off scale hub is a sandwich of plastic and metal - the prop blades are held in with metal parts front and back and it appears to be really well-designed and rock solid. An extra prop blade is included too. The "decals" are high-quality stickers and come in four versions (2 for the bubble top and 2 for the birdcage). The letters have a film overlay so its easy to set the letters in place, and then peel off the overlay. One thing I want to mention is that the retracts have a considerable delay (when you activate them, it takes several seconds before anything happens). For the flaps, I used a 3-second timer on my radio so they come down nice and slow. All the servo arms are mounted at 90-degrees. Centered, in other words. This is perfect for everything except the flaps - to get "full down" flap extension, you need to install the flap servo's arms so that they are fully extended when the flaps are up (instead of at 90 degrees). This took all of 2 minutes to fix.The cowling ring is removable with three screws, and it has a fake engine cylinders inside... the effect isn't bad but it's certainly possible to add a lot more detail if you are inclined. Its nice that you can easily remove the entire cowl to work on it (or replace it if it gets damaged). MRC offers a replacement cowl for just $5.The foam is very smooth, but I wouldn't call it 100% perfect. Nothing is, but out of all my MRC planes the quality of "fit and finish" is absolutely the best I have seen so far. And this model just looks so nice, I am tempted to display it in my living room. Its a beauty and you will be proud to own it. From the videos I've seen, its an excellent flyer as well but that has to wait! And I don't want to wait!
