I have only flown this baby four times, all in one day. That’s all the 6s 5000mah batteries I had. However it’s flight is so stable and gracefull. Flap landings are relatively slow and fun. Now like any plane it can stall. I suggest take her up high and do a few stalls just to get the feel of when and how it stalls. I do this with every maiden. Great buy!

Great ARF to assemble! Lots of cleaver built in design aids for assembly. The graphics were ok. But the white on some of the stars and bars was not dense enough and showed the dark blue under them. Also the Yellow stripping and lettering was to thin.Good instruction and easy radio set up. But I screwed up and had ailerons reversed.I have not done that in 60 years of RC. It took off beautifully and at 10 feet I banked away the runway. It started the wrong way and I corrected again. It went i on it back an gear all appears ok. Fuse split wide open in front. So I went home and ordered a new on and it is being set up. But there will be not graphics on it until I fly it this next week.

If you're in the market for a large Corsair, this is the best out there. The quality of the foam is bar far the best I've seen, it comes with good quality hardware, and has an excellent weight to power ratio, much better than the FMS 1700mm Corsair, which is more than 1.5 lbs heavier with less power. Did a few modifications, including the MR RC Sound system, a Navy 1/7 scale Warbirds.com pilot with moving head, 3D instrument panel, 3.5 Robart wheels, added copper fuel lines to the cylinders, added a custom paint scheme to help visibility along with various graphics from Callie. Finished it by applying 4 coats of gloss exterior Spar Urethane water based which in conjunction with the smooth high quality foam, gave it a beautiful shiny finish. From 4 feet or more away, it looks like a wood and monokote model. Flies superbly, plenty of power, short take offs and climbs forever. Keep at least 20-25% throttle with full flaps on landing to avoid a stall. To learn much more, visit the Corsair Hobby Squawk thread. To see my moving pilot and hear the sound system, go to my video, http;//youtu.be/r4DPjE9gaNc

First off let me say I'm a 73 year old who hasn't flown RC A/C in fifty years.Everything arrived in perfect shape and the build was very easy after watching the Build Video on Motion . The Corsair was absolutely beautiful with an amazing attention to detail. I've flown the plane six times now and it flies beautifully once you have it trimmed properly. Landing is a bit tricky and definetly needs to be landed with some power. I fly off a runway surrounded by grass that is 2 inches long. I have gone through 4 main landing gears because I didn't keep it on the runway. Hard landings don't seem to be a problem but running into slightly taller grass has broken a Retrack Controller 4 times, I had to buy the entire Main Landing Gear each time since Motion has been out of stock on the Controllers. They are now out of stock on Main Landing Gears also, so I better keep it on the runway for a while.Motion has been outstanding in helping me and I just bought the FMS P-47D from Motion and I am told it will be much easier to land for a 73year old. All in all I'm having a blast, and wouldn't buy from anyone else than Motion.

This thing is like a gift from heaven! I love this plane so much that after the first weekend flying it. I sat down and ordered the Birdcage version. It handles grass and somewhat rough terrain with ease. I'm using the recommended Admiral 6s 5000 50c but have also run Pulse 6s 5000 45c, which is a little bit heavier than the Admiral but doesn't effect CG when also placed all the way forward. It flies really nice in light winds without a Gyro but I chose to use AS3X with a 6ch. AR636 receiver.

Quality is top notch. Have not had a chance to fly it, so can’t comment on the function of it.
