“I have lost count regarding the number of warbirds I have purchased and flown over the past 6 or 7 years, but this Flightline Corsair is, I believe, the finest overall warbird in my collection (including those who met sad endings). The quality of this foam warbird is, like my Flightline F7F Tigercat, better than anything else I've found on the market. I rate the Corsair a bit better than the Tigercat only because it flies so stable and quick -- it seems a bit faster than the Tigercat, and tracks perfectly straight through aerobatic maneuvers like reverse half-Cubans and loops, and climbs higher than anything else I own. I'm not particularly good at aerobatics, but this Corsair is clearly the most capable of my warbirds for flat-out flying. That said, the Corsair is more of a challenge to land -- you absolutely need to keep a little throttle on all the way to the ground. The Tigercat is a bit more forgiving on landing -- you can kill the power while it is still a foot or two in the air and let it glide in -- not so the Corsair. I reduce throttle to about 15-20% (depending on the wind), with half-flaps, as it nears the ground, but if I kill the throttle while it is still in the air, it wants to bounce back up. It is happier when it has a little throttle all the way to the ground, and likes to set down on the mains first, then let the tail settle. One other thing with landing (at least in my experience) -- be very easy on the elevator. As with all Corsairs, a little elevator goes a long way. For take-off, I find it best to smoothly advance the throttle to about 1/2-to-2/3's for liftoff. That big propeller, as others have mentioned, can really torque it to the left otherwise. In the air, it is smooth-as-silk, climbs really high, and is very stable. Probably the best warbird I've ever owned.”

“This is a great looking War bird, I followed the show bah bah black sheep like others ,fell in love with the corsair,, easy to assemble , easy to bind to a AR 636 sport reciever, i would recomend this to people who fly the war birds, after 4 1/2 yrs of flying the P 51 redtails this is a easy plane and fun smooth flyer!!! Keep up the war birds great looking and great flyers!!! Thank you Motion rc ....”
