“The Corsair is my most favorite plane, so when I found out about the Motion rc corsair I had to have it! I originally bought the Flightline F4u-1d Corsair, because that is my most favorite model of the Corsair, but it was out of stock, so I bought the F4u-1 instead. When I got it everything was in good condition. I started building the prop and one of the pieces was not finished all the way, so I contacted Motion rc and they sent me a new one. I then flew it and it had too much nose weight, so I took off the extra nose weight and It still flew weird. So I am going to try a 5000 instead. If you buy this make sure your cg is right before you fly it. The other thing is if the landing gear feels week it is actually pretty strong. Just be smooth on the landings! Thanks Motion rc for making a F4u-1 and a F4u-1d instead of making a F4u-4! Cant wait to get the F4u-1d!”

“I would love for the designers of this airplane to come on here and defend their reasoning for building such horrendous landing gear. I mean, what the hell did you expect after drilling a hole through the main pin, leaving barely anything left to support the gear? It's pretty damn obvious the only reason for doing this is to sell more landing gear replacements...because I can't think of any other freaking reason!! Sad because the rest of the airplane is great and it flies great. But you will break your landing gear. Simple as that. Doesn't have to be this way either.”

“This Warbird is stunning. Overall scale appearance is very good. Quality of finish is perfect.Flies very well on 4500 mAh 6S.The only (serious) flaw is the landing gear. Like many other reviews already mention the construction of the plastic retract controllers is very weak. Very prone to crack or break during landings on rough grass.Why not a metal casing? I already had to replace both controllers even though I fly from very shorlty cut grass.”

“This is hands down one of the best corsair I have flown. For a corsair it is very predictable and doesn't bite back when in normal operation. On approach this bird settle right into a glide slot and greases on qith care. I would recommend this bird to any experienced pilot!”

“Overall a good looking and nice flying model. But this plane has a weak spot and that is the landing gear.Even do you land nice and gentle at a certain point flying from grass, the plastic retract will break as the construction is to weak.Why didn’t they use metal, for so an highly cost model foam model.If you buy this plane, order some spare retracts with it.”

“I highly recommend the birdcage Corsair I love it did my maiden today and she flew straight away only needed some up trim with a 5200 mah lipo on mid rates oh man and the landing was alittle long but a greaser awesome flyer I must say- one down side I have to remove the wing for transport but that’s ok also please listen to this never lower that throttle lower than 50 percent keep her on step especially with flaps down , it is a joy to fly once you get past the nervesness lol of the first flight-she goes together very easily straight forward instructions well good luck and happy flying!”
