“Finally got to fly the B-24 after a year of delays. Plenty of power: No need for full power on take off. Gradually feed power and it will lift off. Added a little right aileron trim an a little up elevator and it was trimmed. A little reluctant to turn with ailerons so on tight turns add a little throttle and also a little rudder.I landed with no flaps: on final held a slight up elevator and controlled the sink rate with the throttle. About a foot above the ground I cut the throttle and it settled in without a bounce. Very pleased.”

“I pre-ordered my B-24 for a Christmas present for myself. When the plane arrived it was still winter. Unfortunately before I had a chance to fly it I had a spiral fracture of my right. femur. I'm 84 years old so the rehab wasn't like I was twenty years old. I decided today was the day for the maiden flight. I installed the wings, connected the wiring (all the while admiring the ingenuity of the wiring). When I connected the batteries the LED in the receiver, which I had previously binded did not light up or even blink. I disconnected the BEC, plugged in a receiver battery and all was good. I plugged in the power cable with the BEC and checked the voltage out of the BEC. I don't expect Motion RC to warranty after a year and a half so I guess I'm on my own. In 11 days I'll be 85 years old. I'm still giving the Liberator 5 stars because it's deserves them. It will fly this summer. Don't know how many stars to give the function/perform rating. Everything functions beautifully with a receiver battery plugged into the receiver so will give a good for now and do another review after it fly it.”

“Assembly a bit lengthy but much less than 4 single engine aircraft would require. Great scale looks and performance. Only thing missing is the ball turret but the mechanism for it to retract would add weight and cost to the aircraft.”

“I ordered this airplane, it was well packaged (with one exception) and arrived quickly. There are many scale features, panel lines, antennas, gun barrels, which make this a very real looking model. I am very impressed with the fit and finish, the ease of assembly and the identification decals. The only exception to perfect packaging being the left rudder was jammed into it’s plastic bag in a way that bent it into a curve. I ordered the optional shock absorbing main gear struts which installed easily. The wiring control board makes breakdown and assembly simple and quick. Gently advancing the throttle brings the craft to takeoff speed smoothly and the plane lifts nicely with or without flaps. The bent rudder does not seem to affect the flight, but I will get with Motion RC about replacement for proper looks. The only problem that I have had is landing the plane without breaking a prop (3 flights- 4 broken props). With flaps it rolls left as the craft settles into ground plane, bouncing on left gear and breaking the right outboard prop. Landing without flaps it settles down hard, breaking both outer props. So have ordered extra props till I get this right. Flying with 2 4S 4000mah admiral batteries and by using the J series front nose the plane balanced properly with no added weight. All in all, very pleased with this model. Flys great and is very realistic and scale looking in the air.”

“I have taken months to put together some of the bigger composite and balsa planes I got this for ease and looks. Very easy set up and flys great. One suggestion is to start with a neutral elevator with takeoff flaps first and then trim in what you need. This plane is a little pitchy on fast throttle so don't over do it. Great plane though.”
