“...I find this a very enjoyable plane to fly. I do have a stabilizer on board and this plane flies as if on rails. Dead steady! That's important for fliers starting out and those wishing to fly something relaxing. I wouldn't call it slow but it is big and no a jet by any means. A weakness are the plastic wheel struts in tail dragger mode. They rely on small plastic pieces for support at the wheel mount and they are not up to the job. The small supports crack, leading to more flex and more damage. I finally took all the plastic off but kept the small supports after applying some washers to give them more grip. The metal wire gear holds up pretty well that way with only an occasional straightening needed now and then. I fly with up to a 3S 3300mAh battery and all is good. Very stable platform for Mobius cam to take video from.”
“I agree with all the hits for this kit.A couple of misses though:The instruction manual is terrible; obviously written by someone whose English is not their second language.I would feel badly for someone who is not an experienced modeler trying to put this airplane together...Note to Motion please have someone do a rewrite.Pushrods for the flap horn/servo are too short,”
“I got the blue Pandora as a Christmas present from my wife. It arrived in 2 days as always from Motion , they rock! I opened up the box to make sure everything was alright, the plane is beautiful and was packaged very well, not even a dent in the foam anywhere. My wife says no assembling till Christmas so I will have to wait till then. The weather in Chicago is not good right now so I'll post a maiden later. I also ordered 3 inch Dave Brown's to replace the hard foam cartoon wheels on the tail dragger main gear.”
“This was a birthday gift and I have not yet flown it. I will review it again later. The delivery was very timely, and the box and contents undamaged. Assembly was quick and easy. The only downside was that all the bolts and nuts were not identified (that I could find). There appear to be no weak links or parts. I did order an additional canopy, which was quickly delivered and demonstrated that spare parts are easily obtainable. Loaded, CG was correct and the velcro battery retainer a welcome addition. All in all, a great start for this aircraft.”

“This is my 3rd fixed wing trainer and I wish I had found the Pandora first . My first happened to be a hand me down that I'm too embossed to say the name . Had a lot of flights/crashes on it and it just came apart due to usage . My second was an Apprentice which is an excellent traine and I'm still flying it now the only downfall its that it is so light that in windy conditions the wind tosses it around like a rag doll on take offs and landings and its not built to take a lot of abuse . I purchased the Pandora because of the 4-1 feature because I knew I would be going to a lower wing configuration and did not want to purchase yet another trainer .Bottom line the Pandora is amazing !!! It was an easy build, pretty straight forward .The only issue I had was petty the screws . In my case I did not have the complete set and it was a crap shoot determining where they were to be installed. The Pandora's performance was great from take off , it track pretty much hands off . Very responsive in high wind, took it to 300ft and it handled like a champ. No problems with the accent or 12ent . I fly near the coast so we get the breeze and gust around lunch time . If you throttle back a bit you can average 10 minutes. By the way you may want to kick your battery up to 2600mah . Landing was better than I had expected . She floated down on final with very little correction and power very solid . The tricycle landing gear is stronger than it looks . However, you may want to glue the wheel skids I don't see them holding up too long on paved surfaces without that extra sealant . In closing, I would not recommend this plane to a straight out beginner unless he/she is dead set on a large beginner aircraft.”
“First, quality packaging; second, quick and easy to assemble; third, very stable and maneuverable aircraft. From opening the box to flight ready was just under an hour. Everything was screw and bolt together, very well made aircraft. Flight characteristics were just fantastic, I have flown mine in the high wing and low wing tail drag-er configuration. When I switched configuration high to low no trim was required. Over just a great trainer.”
