Freewing Pandora 4-in-1 Blue 1400mm (55") Wingspan - PNP Reviews

4.5 Rating 127 Reviews
I have switched from top wing to low wing, put in flaps just because I wanted to learn how. This plane flies like a dream and looks great doing it. I get 8 minutes on a 11.1 2200mah battery. Couldn't be happier.

First off ty Motion RC my plane arrived today in perfect condition. I'm not sure why most people are complaining about the screws an which one goes were Just look at page 18 of direction. Shows right were they go and what size can't get any simpler then that. took me all of 45mins to build and ready to fly can't wait to get her in the air! Thanks again Motion RC

Purchased the Pandora for my son who is just starting his Rc training and wanted a plane that has good flying characteristics at mid throttle. The packaging as usual was very good and the construction of the plane required a little intuitive knowledge of Rc planes since the instructions were not top notch (reason for 4 stars). After completing some minor adjustments to the trimming the plane flys as well as shown on the video. The turns are slow and easy to manage at low throttle and does not have any bad characteristics. Take off and landings were also easy to perform and managed well on rough surfaces due to the large wheels. Putting my son behind a transmitter with the trainer cord plugged in I gave him some breif instructions and he took off with no problem. He was able to manage all the basic flying techniques with minmal help and only once did I have to take over for him. That speaks highly of the Pandora when considering your first flying experience. With only four training flights under his belt he has managed loops, rolls and landings with no problems. This is a great plane and platform for newbies who have a little simulator experience. The power of the motor won't set any speed records but has enough to pull out of some precarious situations. I have not converted to the other configs (set up was with the high wing tail dragger) because my experience reminded me that the tail dragger is the easiest to manage for new flyers. The plane is also very tough and has experienced some rather rough landings but held together and remains realetively unblemished after 8 solo training flights. Nice design and a good value!

This is really good model. Easy to land, this plane makes me look like I know what I'm doing. A smooth flyer, I haven't had a better Kit, ever. Your evaluation was right-on in every detail. Thanks for a lot of good flights!

This is a very bad plane. The instructions (if you want to call them that) are so poor you need to assemble blind. On the first flight the rudder servo gave out and then the elevator servo gave up right behind it. Guess where the plane ended up from about 250 feet? straight in. Now this is a very tough plane, it destroyed 3 stalks of corn when it hit. I will never fly with plastic geared servo's again. Less than 5 minutes flight time.

I had not flown in over 5 years, was flying all Nitro planes. I 12ided to give electric planes a try, and the Pandora is the best 12ision I could have made to get my hand back in flying. Easy to assemble, and very good looking plane. Only issue I could find was today, during a flight, wind was rather strong, and the plane flying into the wind stood still. Could use a little larger motor, going to put a bigger prop and see what happens.

This is the first trainer type of plane I have purchased that I am 110% satisfied with. This goes together with no problems, takes off like it is on rails, flies the sky the same way and is a dream to land. This plane will take you far beyond trainer in your flying as I have found it to be fully aerobatic for doing anything a plane of this type can do. You will not be disappointed buying this one, it's just great.

Very nice plane for the money. Simple to fly in low or high wing configuration.
