I'm new to the R/C community so like most things I do, I dove in both feet first! After shopping around different sites and calling a few vendors I landed on Motionrc.com. I think what did for me is that I am recently retired Iraq vet and wanted something to constructively spend my down time and saw that it was a great website, great customer service and best of all, VETERAN OWNED!! Back to the plane, I first ordered the Mirage 2000 EDF Jet which I wanted SPEED right out of the gate. But being a beginner they informed me I might want to get my feet wet with a beginner plane first, that's where I 12ided on the Pandora. It's a great plane, it looks great, well constructed and easy for a beginner to fly right out of the box! I also bought the Aurora 9 transmitter which is fantastic and more than enough for both planes! I opted to cut the foam wings and install the flaps. That really is very easy to do even for as a beginner. You really do get for different configuration in one plane! Actually there is a fifth, they sell a set of snow ski's that you can use in snow, but I live in California so that won't be happening. Some pontoons would be a nice option if they ever 12ide to make them available. Over all, very satisfied with the pandora and the purchase!

Flown this plane 4 times and wrecked it all 4. The last one finished it off for good. I think that this plane isn't good for anything honestly. I mean it's made in Asia somewhere so it's got that going for it. Also the plane is too big to be a beginner plane in my opinion. Never again will I buy a freewing because of this plane.

I'm new to the hobby. This plane delivers everything it promises. I had an instructional flight with my field instructor. He's been flying since 1972 and said that the Pandora was the best trainer he's ever seen. The plane is sturdy, stable and has plenty of power. I've soloed twice since. Get this plane, it's an absolute joy.

1st off...motion rc is by far the best online store I have dealt with...everything is shipped super fast. This is the go to store for me. As for the Pandora what can I say...Great plane very durable...have flown in 10-15mph winds and it does very well. have had a few crashes..just broke the prop. so this thing is made to take a beating and it fly's very well. highly recommend for a 1st timer

As always quick shipping from Motion RC & arrived in excellent condition. The plane is very impressive right out of the box & the easiest & quickest to assemble of any of the planes I have. No gluing anything. Do to the weather I have not been able to fly it yet but am looking forward to it. I have it set up in the low wing trike (Piper Archer) mode & it looks fantastic. I will write more after I have flown it. As of now I would highly recommend it for any one wanting a large versatile plane. If you buy an extra main wing & put the wing support on the top & the bottom you can have a BY-PLANE too. How cool is that.

Have not had time to fly this plane yet but I will say I was impressed by the build quality of the model. All pushrods came attached and ready to go for all configurations, leaving only a disconnect of the one not being used. This is important in showing the modeler the routing of all controls. Noticeable too was zero play from servos to tail or nose wheel. I am using and setting up a 4-channel receiver which incorporates a built-in 3-axis gyro. The plane may not actually need something like this but we typically have some gusts of winds around here and maybe I'll feel better about flying on those days! Also, I had 3 2200mAh batteries from a helicopter I have but rated at 20C discharge. In bench testing there wasn't any extra rpm available after mid-stick. I swapped out some 1300mAh batteries rated from 40C-90C and this thing became a monster, almost blowing my bench over!!! :) Be sure your batteries can discharge enough and you'll have full performance.

Received plane in great shape and quickly. Bought as a first low-wing and tail-dragger trainer, and as a test-bed for electronics to be installed later on a Carbon Z Yak 54 3x. Been flying with trike gear; had several bouncy landings and still no prob with front landing gear. I upgraded to digital metal gear servos (Hitec 9g and Freewing 17g) and Spektrum AR636 receiver with remote adjustable servo gain. Really flys smooth with about 25% rate gain. Running Admiral 3s 3300mah; extra weight may be why it seems slow. Going to try a 4s battery with an upgraded ESC and SBEC to see if that peps her up!
