“Super bright, easy to set up. Still fooling around with the different modes. Only downer is the heat sinks are quite large. I'm concerned they may give off too much heat as they're going into a foam wing. Maybe add a balsa tip lined with foil? not sure which way I'll go but the kit itself is very impressive, next time I crank them up after install I better be wearing shades.”

“I'm torn on how to review this. First the good, the LEDs are awesome. They are so bright they're hard to look at when testing, I know they will be visible in the daylight flying around. The controller is good, and even has an On/Off switch.Now for the bad, I fly fixed wing and plan to use the light kit on a scale plane. I would like the lights to work in scale fashion. That means red and green wing tip lights on solid, and beacons flashing. Ok the controller does that, but landing lights should go on solid when the gear is down and turn off when the gear is up. Unfortunately that is not an option. There is no option to keep the landing lights on solid, they always flash. There is also no way to turn the landing lights on or off without cycling through all 9 modes. This is a very basic option and should be part of any scale lighting kit. The instructions are very weak.”

“I love it! I installed on my Carbon-Z T-28 They make the T-28 so much more impressive than it already was. Lights are bright and easy to install. Setting up one of the eight modes, so they blink or function as desired, was a bit of a challenge since there are no directions for that. But it all turned out well and love the finished product. Because the lights are large, these work best on larger planes. I plan on buying 2 more sets. Great system for the money. Thanks!”
