“The quality of the kit is very good. I plan to make many small modifications and it will be nitro powered instead of electric. Shipping was very fast, and there were no missing or damaged parts. I wish Motion RC would provide at least some discount on the shipping to U.S. states and territories outside of the continent. For one, I think you would attract more military affiliated buyers.”

“I am a big van of de Havilland aircraft including this model, the FMS DHC-2 Beaver, and the CL-415 Water Bomber. I live just east of Toronto. The plane came intact and well packed. The Nexa version is very detailed. The Motion RC video on yourtube of this plane is excellent. I am a float plane fan. The floats are out of stock at present but I am on the wait list when they come in. I am very happy with my purchase. I have not started the build yet. This is a fall project.”

“this is the second one of these Otters I have had. It fly's great. I modified the nose gear to better handle our rough field, with a sisor link suspension. I used the 5 bladeprops from the C130 that Horizon hobby sells, looks great and sounds auwsome.I also used a 5000mah 4s battery pack which made it a bit nose heavy, so I addeda couple of ounces of weight in the tail cone piece”

“Great quality construction. Seems to be very similar to the (updated) VMAR but with added scale details and beefier construction. Very impressed with the flap travel, as that was the biggest downfall of the VMAR model. I will be shortening the gear to get a more scale appearance, but otherwise I am very impressed by this plane.”

“Not a first time build, instructions are minimal at best and don’t show everything.Nose gear block does not fit the pre drilled holes in the front bulkhead same as the main gear mount holes, had to make mods to both. Engine mount system sucks, I had some standoffs made to make it easier to mount them and ensure squareness. Included foot step does not fit anywhere and not showed where to mount it, same with the control yokes. I am an experienced builder (55+ years) and still had to really study the plans before starting. Have not flown it yet as the weather is too cold for me. It does look good when assembled but some of the mounting sites and items do require some mods. As stated at the beginning, not a first time build.”

“Just unpacking was a good hour, lots of tape and protective covering....GIVE IT 5 STARS.FOR PACKING. I also got the floats cause I fell in love with water and snow flying and landings. This model is beautiful and except for some time consuming motor installation and the wing bolts (plastic) that have molded miss aliened threads which makes it almost impossible to install, still concidering other was like replacing with better bolts.... Instrstuctions are good and leave little to guess about. l”
