Overall good quality - l added extra elevator servo , easily done. Used better hardware for main gear mounting. Found it necessary to add/build motor battery shelf above rudder/elevator servos .

I was surprise 'd ? Quality of plane was really top notch ? Hardware thou has never been useable for lots & lots & lots of years ............with any Vietnam Arf. Get U r self 2 - 56 pushrods & Dubro clevis 's & U 'll be good to go. Maid 'n plane 21 Jan. '21 4S 4000 Admiral battery 45 amp Esc 's only need 'd minor down elevator trim was all. Flew flawlessly * Floats on way via Fed Ex which is why I purchased plane. I fly 1/4 scale gas planes at the club field. Did HS 5085 MG servo for ailerons & HS 5625 MG for rudder & elevator. Plastic gear servo's are for foamies only ? U won't be disappoint 'd Otter Twin is a good buy flyer's * Thank U Motion RC for one more quality plane folks *

The good: this was well packed and there were no flaws when I unpacked it. Nicely built with good covering and from what I could tell the glue joints were great.Bad: the instructions are just a few pages of general pictures. If you have never built an RC plane before this is not for you. I have built many so I knew exactly what to do which I am OK with. The hardware supplied is cheap. I replaced most of it with my own which I am also OK with. Here is the problem-the premise servo slots under the wings are not built correctly. The flaps call for micro servos which fit but the opening is much larger than needed. The ailerons call for mini servos but the opening are not the right size. I hade to cut new ones and glue in some light plywood. You are left up to your imagination on where to install the receiver and battery. I ended up gluing in side supports to the fuselage and adding a trey over the rudder servo to put the receiver. I am running 2 3S 3200 batteries parallel that should give me 8+ minutes of air time.I also decided to go with 3 blade props for a more realistic look. So glad I did. I have programmed reverse thrust to each so landings are like the real plane with prop braking.Bottom line is I love this plane and it looks great. I spent a little longer on assembly because I had to figure out next steps. I would recommend this to anyone but first time RC pilots.

I eagerly anticipated building the Nexa Twin Otter. However, the experience proved both frustrating and irksome. I found the instructions to be incomplete and often misleading. The hardware was of a poor quality, even down to simple things like screws which didn't properly fit ANY screwdriver heads. I also learned that a lot of required equipment didn't come with the kit, and had to be ordered separately, which raised the overall price significantly. Compared to competing RC kits from China, this one compares poorly. I'd recommend that anyone considering an RC model stay away from Nexa kits, if this example is any representative.

Quality model. Nothing appears missing. Packaged well. Accessible fuselage is all balsa so no sticky surfaces exposed from nasty covering. Full follow up after construction.

For some reason I’ve been really into civilian type planes lately. This one was on the list but was always out of stock. So I got lucky enough to buy one. Plane looks great and is so far, a pretty easy assembly. My only problem is the servos I had where to small physically. So I had to cut some balsa pieces to fill in the servo holes. I hate giving reviews before the plane is flown, let alone finished with the build. But so far, so good
