This plane , from all the other reviews appears to be a good flyer with one gripe: The wing attachment bolts and their position. The engineers at Nexa need to lengthen the hatch to where the wing bolts can be accessed without having to stand on your head trying to turn them in. Lengthening the hatch rearward by 3 would allow access to the wing bolts without having to go through gyrations to screw them in and out. I also had to add two nylon washers to each bolt as they would not tighten in all the way. You need to get with their engineering team to make this simple change. All in all this plane is a good bargain.

Over all quality of the model is very good but it's let down with poor tail feather fit and the impossible task of fitting the wing retention bolts

Solid plane, flies great, very easy to fly, good main landing gear, poor front landing gear which is too weak and quick bent on rough grass pists.Lot of power on 4s 4000 with boost 30 and 11x5 l/r Propeller. Flying time 7min.

I noticed that the box contained a 30 Day warranty card so I inspected the contents for damage and or missing parts and found no issues. The quality of craftsmanship and care to detail makes this model a real treasure to behold. The packaging of the model is robust and secure which prevents shipping and handling damage in transit. The model parts are wrapped in strong plastic and affixed with tape to prevent content movement and it is double boxed, for added protection. The fit and finish of the parts are easy to accomplish and the instructions well written to follow. The model’s quality, construction and superb packaging shows a level of detail and expertise offered by Motionrc.com that is second to none!

Shipping was fast as reasonably expected during these times. Nothing broken, which is a good thing. Very well made, should be a good flyer. Have the floats ordered.

This is my second De Havilland Twin Otter model because I just love the looks of it, my first was in the Nature Air paint scheme and now the Canadian rescue scheme, both of these planes are made by VQ models in Vietnam and I am truly happy to see MotionRC bring it under their Nexa brand. The construction is very solid and well finished with plenty scale details. I fitted mine with twin 30 amp ESC's, motors and 11/7 3 bladed CW and CCW Master Air props, the whole plane runs on 3 cell 4000mah lipo that gives me a good 5 minute flight time. There are two important issues with the build that makes me say WTF? The thumb screws to to hold the wings are almost impossible to reach unless you have tine hands, the same applies to the two thumb screws that hold the landing gear cover... I made myself a tool to reach the wing bolt via a removable side window. The plane flies great but you need to be on alert at all times, at least for my little experience with mainly light weight foamies, but I am getting used to it... The only reason it did not get a 5 star rating is because there are NO SPARE PARTS available anywhere and I am hoping MotionRC will change that.
