“First Build in a while. Used the video as guide. Ended up with two little skinny carbon rods left over. Used three rates of my own design. Maiden flight was Uber mild. Really like the way it flies. Handles a light breeze very well. Can’t go wrong for the price.”

“Great plane, easy to fly. seemed a little under powered into the wind. so, I put a 10/8E prop on it and it flys better into the wind and faster. Awesome now.”

“Plane came in well packed and all servos, ESC and motor worked well. Only the included prof did not fit well to the motor shaft, even with the inserts. I used a 12", 3.5 pitch APC prop. Used Lemon 7 channel receiver w gyro. a 1500 mAh 3S needs to be mounted vertically all the way to the front and add a small lead weight to the nose to balance the plane at the rear limit of CG. Because of the nearly 48" wingspan, I had to make the wing detachable to fit even in my large SUV. I used salvaged carbon tubes for the wing rod and secured the leading and trailing edge mounts with a overlay ply veneer. I left out the landing gear to save weight. With this setup, the plane is easy to transport/assemble, and a fantastic and well balanced plane. hand lanch is simple and will fly out of your hand. Almost no rudder coupling, requiring less than 7% down elevator for either rudder deflection for completely straight knife edge. Knife-edge loop easily, all day long. The gyro receiver allows the plane to fly with control in 25-30 mph gusty winds and land at my feet with high alpha finale.”
