“Great overall. Sturdy - flies amazing. Not a show piece (reference everyone’s complaints about the ink smudging) but an incredible flyer for the money and much more rugged for travel to and from the field than other foamy’s I’ve had in the past. Would buy again for sure. Love it.”

“Initially the model flew very well. On connecting the battery for flight 6, a spurt of smoke came from the battery - quickly disconnected, no fire or explosion. Inspection revealed 2 pairs of motor poles' insulation burnt. As a precaution both motor and ESC replaced with locally obtained spares, as trust in the original parts lost. MotionRC were advised via their website, with supporting pictures, but to date no reply. Shame as the model is good.”

“On unpacking the box I noticed the black ink used was not completely dry resulting in black smudges on all foam components as well as my hands. I resolved the propogation of this prior to assembly by spraying the foam components with clear shellac. I also noticed the fuselage in my kit was different than the assembly video as the plywood and carbon fiber rods were already installed. In addition, the cutout for the wing was for the entire wing profile instead of just the forward half as appears in the video. This allowed me to deviate from the wing assembly process by prebuilding the wing, minus one aileron servo, and installing it one piece followed by adding a section of the precut block to fill the remaining gap.The other deviation was on the landing gear. Didn’t see any clips to hold the gear in place as shown in the video so used a piece of gift card that fit between the wires folded into a T shape. Inserted the folded gift card in the slot after the gear was in place and used velcro to hold the exposed gift card wings to the underside of the fuselage.An instruction manual, either included or downloadable, would be a significant improvement.Maiden flight was uneventful after minimal initial trim.”

“No instructions. Surface of all parts very rough.Hardware supplied is a joke. One wing is thicker than the other, by an eight of an inch. Generally, much poorer quality than other thin fuselage types. Overpriced for what you get.”

“Overall a nice plane, easy build. However, having to add so much weight even with the landing gear installed is just killer. would not recommend to rooky pilots . Plus paint comes of all over hands.”

“This is a well-put-together kit that flies really well, I have bought 3, BUT the ink or silkscreen used for coloring black on the elevator was not dry on all 3 planes and smeared black ink all over the model. I need to buy several more for my flying buddies but must wait for the next shipment hoping they resolve the problem. I have several Skynetic remakes of the Dancing Wing planes and this is the first disappointment. Motion is aware of this problem so if you want this plane make sure it is the new inventory and they have resolved the problem. On # 2 and 3 being aware of the problem I blotted out the excess then sprayed the entire plane with a clear coat which solved the problem but made the plane pretty heavy.”

“Im not sure if this kit will fly or not! While trying to do the assembly the painted surfaces, Black especially rubbed off and covered my hands. After repeatedly washing my hands i walked away from it! The entire model is covered in black smudges and fingerprints! Very disappointing!”
