I didn't like no instructions and the ink they use rather than paint creates a mess. I am buying a second SBACH 342 and here is what I will do different on the second one and this is not the way the video shows you.First be very careful taking the surfaces from the plastic bag and immediately spray them with a water based clear coat. Otherwise your model will be filthy from the excess ink used to color the plane. Next, install the rudder and elevator servos in the fus. It is much easier to do without the wings, rudder or elevator installed. Next assemble both wing halves with Foam-Tac. Then slide the wing through the fus and install the servos. Doing these steps first will help to have a great model. But a great throw in the trunk and go anywhere model.

My first 3d plane, I found that a 3s 850mah battery was a good fit for size and weight

This plane flies great! I used a 3S 1500 mAh and the balance was good without ballasts. I am having a lot of fun flying aggressive without the fear of destroying an expensive plane! Only point is the paint was not dry and the plane was dirty and sticky which I didn’t care too much. Also a carbon rib was missing but I I had some spares.

I recently purchased the Skynetic Sbach 342 3D aircraft for the purpose of learning to fly 3D. The assembly was fairly simple but take your time and wait for your glue setup on the major components like the wing before move to the next one. The only hang up I had was fitting the elevator and vertical stabilizer together. I had to increase the clearance where the elevator passes through the tail. But this was minor. I have flown it 3x with a 3S 1500mAh 120C battery and it flys great. I also flew it 1x with a 1300mAh 30c battery and the aircraft seemed a little tail heavy but that wasn’t so bad and it helped with high alpha practice. So experimenting with different batteries and/or adjusting the tail with some weight can change everything. I’m ready to try some 3D flying!

Not for the fainthearted! Tail heavy and very touchy in flight!

Great little plane, fairly mild on low rates, totally wild on max throws.
