Build went together very well for the most part. The instructions that you download for this plan were created as a slightly different previous model. This kit comes with a two pieces wing and you must install all the carbon and ply wood supports in the fuselage. Instructions for these items would have helped. Had to call in for a few questions which were answered. Would have created some problems for an inexperienced builder. The hardware kit was complete, however the servo arms do not allow for proper throws needed on this model. The original kit in the plans calls for arm extenders which this model does not have. The speed control has a second connector with a single wire that turns out is not used. My assembly was with hot melt glue which worked very well. CG balance point in the instructions was good. Need to modify how to hold in the landing gear into the body wooden ply holder. Used some additional ply and adhesive to properly retain in place.First flight was good with good flight characteristics. The servo arms should be longer to get the recommended throws. Plenty of power with the prop and motor with 3S battery. Lack of control surface movement most noticeable with the ailerons. Have moved the link rod to the lowest position on the horns of the control surfaces to get closer to recommended throws. Overall, good flying model and ease of assembly. Better assembly instructions and longer servo arms would have made this model a much easier model to set up IMO. Would estimate about 7 min flight times depending on how you fly.

I have one of this plane. It flies very smoothly. 3D performance is also very fantastic can do whatever you want. Recommend to get one if your budget is limited.

The web page picture looks a lot better than the faint color in the kit and the picture shows a rounded cut on top of the fuselage but it is just flat cut. That wouldn't be so bad but there are no instructions at all and the manual you can download on the webpage is for a Tech One version that is a mostly pre assembled kit. This version is completely unbuilt parts only. The wing is two pieces that must be glued, but most egregious is that you can't glue the wing halves together and then slide them into the fuselage because the slot in the fuse is nowhere near long enough to fit the wing. I got it built be gluing the wing halves together while holding the loose fuselage between them. This also means gluing two full length thin carbon spars into just half the wing and sliding those through the fuselage at the same time as gluing the wings together. Alternatively, you could cut a much longer slot in the fuse. All carbon fiber strips must be glued throughout, unlike the download manual indicates. The servo arms are short and no extensions are provided to make 3D deflection. The thing sport flies ok in the wind using a 3s 1300mah battery. It's a whole lot of unexpected work, but it can be built.

I've purchased a lot of planes from motion. This is the first one that I'm not really happy with. There are no directions included and the pdf on the product page is terrible, it skipped over another of important steps. If you don't have a bit of experience building planes maybe pass on this one for a bit. If you do pick it up be sure to glue in the plywood motor mount and mid fuse support BEFORE you glue in the carbon spars. Some of the hardware included is different from the pdf so your on your own for a bit of the build. The servo pockets aren't deep enough to accommodate the included servos. I didn't want to cut the foam so I added 2mm depron foam spacers so the servos fit flush. You will have to drill out the servo horns to fit the pushrods and ez connectors. The balance is wayyyy tail heavy on mine. I have to turn the battery sideways so it's closer to the front of the plane. The prop seems very undersized for the weight and it doesn't fly great with it. I changed the 9x4.7 to a 10x4.5 and it Flys much better but it does shorten flight times a bit. Overall it's not terrible but I'll likely go up another inch for the prop and throw in a slightly stronger esc, that should help with the balance and flight characteristics.
