It took all of about five hours to assemble and set up. With the supplied motor I had to use all four mount pieces and purchase longer mounting bolts from hardware store. The only gripe is the printing on the fuse comes off on my hands as I handled it. It turned my fingers black. I used mostly low temp hot melt glue and thin CA with kicker. I also purchased Admiral 1800 ma 3S batteries and would advise not to go to the 2200 ma for weight saving. I got about 30 minutes or more of flying time on this battery with about 37% left afterwards. You only need about 1/4-1/3 throttle to maintain altitude and half throttle to really zoom climb. It thermals very well as long as the prop is still slowly turning. I was able to very easily do inside and outside loops with it using medium Elv. I used full aileron and with rudder I could get it to roll. I did attract three buzzards and flew with them some. This plane is like Wesley said, very easy to fly with no bad habits. I balanced it on the front main spar. I would highly recommend it for a fun and different type of flying. Looks so real in the air gliding around. This bird is very over powered with the supplied motor and ESC. I never gave it full throttle. Hand launch at 1/3 to 1/2 throttle.

Very good product and price. What would make it an excellent ARF is if it had a folding prop. Can anyone let me know. Where I can get a folding prop for this Bird??

Easy build and a real slow floater with the motor off on a calm day. It'll climb straight up on launch, so be sure to throttle slowly. Get high enough and it looks real enough to fool people for a bit. I may buy another.

This bird takes a while to assemble. I didn't see any instructions included with the shipment. I did follow the YouTube assembly instructions from Motion, which was helpful. After I fully assembled the Bald Eagle, I found the instruction on the support column. A little too late. I missed a few tips I could have used and would have provided a better outcome. All I can say is it's a lot of work to make it look presentable. All of the servos, motor, and the esc, worked well. Trimming it out was something else. Everything was centered before maiden. But, it took trimming to the limit and it still wasn't trimmed completely. I had to trim it mechanically after trim ran out on my radio. It flies best at half throttle. I didn't see the instructions on the washer placement for the motor mounts until after fully assembled. So anything over half throttle, it climbs quite a bit. But, once in the air, it looks pretty realistic. Expect to get some of it's coloring on your hands when gluing it together. Good luck and have fun.

The quality of the foam and the build was pathetic however if one wants to add foam and strengthen up the body and add a place for the battery and basically strengthen the whole entire Frame Up it'll probably be okay other than that it's very unsatisfactory
