This kit sucks, No build directions and you have to pull the wing off to install and remove the battery.

Fun kit to put together and looks very real! This will be a lot of fun. I have not flown yet, but will fly soon with my father-in-law who also got one so we can fly together. We generally fly warbirds, but this is just going to be for fun!!!

After my 1st flight, I still think the Eagle is awesome, but here is what I learned. The model was somewhat twitchy on the elevator. At first I thought it might be a cg issue, but then I noticed how flexible the foam elevator is. You may want to stiffen it up with some carbon fiber or add a lot more positive expo as I did! Another issue I discovered was the control horns. This model was designed for glue-in control horns. The foam is too thin and flexible for the supplied horns. I had to reinforce them with some Foam-Tac, problem solved! I did update the push rod connectors! That's the only issues I had, and the Bald Eagle does look awesome in the air!

This kit is for the experienced builder. It contains strips of foam and plywood for the fuselage. I did not understand the little metal connectors provided to secure the pushrods to the servos. When secured, they would not rotate freely and the pushrods would bind when extending. I replaced with some spare connectors from old planes. In addition, the motor mount consists of 4 plywood spacers between the firewall and the motor. Even with 4 spacers, the prop would not clear the front of the fuselage. Another modification was necessary on my part. And finally, WHERE ARE THE INSTRUCTIONS? This kit needs a little help. These modifications take time and I look forward to soaring with the red tail hawks at our airfield.

I got my eagle several days ago , and am finally building it. I had one a while back so I'm familiar with it. That said, it's fairly easy to assemble. Kinda anyway. I was in a semi-rush building it. There are no instructions included so that wasn't the issue. I slapped it together on my kitchen counter which caused it to be slightly misaligned it's not extreamly warped, but it's there. I'm just hoping it flies as well as my first one did. Only time will tell. But she's still GORGEOUS?

I have to say when I received this model, I was a little disappointed. I thought I had ordered a pnp and would be in the air in about an hour. Make no mistake, this is an arf bundle or basically a kit with all the parts and electronics, excluding battery and receiver. You have to build this plane! Although no instructions or manual is included, I discovered that the Skynetic Eagle is the upgraded re-release of an older kit. Just google eagle II rc plane and you wil find all the info you need, complete with build videos. The Skynetic Eagle comes complete with servos, motor, esc and prop which is an upgrade from the previous kit. Construction is straightforward using foam appropriate adhesives with the v-tail being somewhat challenging. The cg is 60-80mm from the wing leading edge! The graphics on this plane are amazing and when completed, you are rewarded with a light, reasonably big model that is suitable for relaxed easy soaring. Oh! And it looks, surprisingly, exactly like a bald eagle! Awesomeness!!!
