“This is a very nice airplane!! My only disappointment is the decals fell off the first time I flew it. Now, it is not so good looking. Perhaps a sealcoat of some sort should be applied”

“Great flying airplane. Does the most graceful flat spins. An all-around fly-anywhere plane. Also if you're going to dive bomb the plane you might consider CA in the wings and tail section. You definitely can't go wrong adding this plane to your collection.”

“I had high hopes for a good sea plane at the lake. Both ailerons came detached close to the servo horn out of the box. I had to reinforce them with plastic hinges. The rudder is getting serious prop wash and the airplane has a bad tail waggle. Forget steering at all in the water with even the slightest breeze using the rudder. Need 50-75 percent throttle to steer in the water and try not to take off. Overall I’m disappointed”

“It’s been a bit of a challenge to get airborne. The aero surfaces were acting intermittently. Full throttle would send the elevator full up and cause the plane to fall out of the sky on takeoff. The video build package deviated from the norm and caused a mistake on my part during the build. I was part of a NASA investigation board that looked at some of the problems we encountered during processing and deviating from the norm was the one item that got us in trouble more than anything else.”

“I flew all winter, snow on ground or not, with this plane. It actually handles great for steering on the snow, better than on water. I installed a gyro and took the twitchiness out of it. Lots of fun and plenty of power. Good flight times. Acts like an edf jet but has flight times of a prop plane.”
