“the Laser cutting of the pieces was fine, the biggest issue I had with this puzzle kit was the plywood delamination, it was like they had a shortage of glue between the plywood pieces. Like I said in the review headline, I spent way too much time re gluing the pieces back together after they split apart. This is not my first rodeo, I've put at least eight of these projects together, some more complicated than this one.Also, the toothpick technology for gear axles needs to be revisited.... Pieces under tension DO NOT fair well when the axle is made of toothpicks, pony up the material quality to a metal axle(s) and this will be the start of good project.This project was missing the wax lubricant as well as the square of sandpaper needed to knock the edges off, fortunately I has some left over from previous projects.To add injury to the whole process, there was at least two pages omitted from the instruction book, so you had to guess what went where next - yet the numerical sequencing of the instructions appeared correct at first glance until you actually started the assembly process- again attention to detail and quality control is not a strong point with UGEARS.Overall satisfaction with UGEARS is really a 2 out of 5 due to lack of quality control.”

“Das UGEARS 3D-Modell Dampflokomotive ist eine Freude für Bastler. Die Teile sind sehr genau und mit etwas Vorsicht auch gut aus dem Träger herauszutrennen. Der Zusammenbau erfordert ebenfalls etwas Vorsicht und Genauigkeit. Dann bricht auch nichts.Um so größer ist die Freude, wenn man dann sieht, wie die Zahnräder ineinandergreifen und das Modell zum Laufen bringen. Erstaunlich ist auch die Gangschaltung und der Gummimotor verblüfft.Für einen Bastler, der gern genau und behutsam arbeitet, kann ich das Modell nur empfehlen.”
