I haven't really found anything not to like. It's light, easy on my knives, grips ingredients, dishwasher safe (yet to clean it this way, but the option is there), hasn't stained yet, and doesn't flex. I got this size because I already have a very large Larchwood board, so this was meant to be a backup board that I can bleach/toss in the dishwasher, but I've been using it for pretty much everything. I would probably recommend going up 1 size, but I've enjoyed this one. I'll likely be ordering a few more of these for gifts to elevate some friends' kitchen game. I would recommend using a damp paper towel under it, because it will slide. If you need a con then that's probably it, but that's almost every board that doesn't have feet.

I’ve only used the Hasegawa Pro-Soft Lite board twice, but it feels high quality, doesn’t slip around, and is noticeably easier on my knives than my other boards. Looking forward to using this board for years to come.

Nice on my knives.

We use it for fruits only, and the texture makes the fruits less likely to slide around.

My new board cleans easily, and my knives stay sharp longer. A pleasure to use. I am not a professional chef, but cook a lot. I would recommend this board to anyone.

It stains very easily , there is absolutely nothing special about this cutting board that makes it worth the cost . It also holds on to food odor badly , this cutting board is only extra work to clean . It absolutely sucks .

The Hasegawa FRK Soft Rubber cutting board is near perfect in every way. Perfect cutting surface for your Japanese knife, light weight and fits in the diswasher. My only complaint is that the board is slightly warped so that is slips around when faced convex side down. Flip it over with convex side up and it sits firmly on the granite counter without sliding around.
